This is my first published fic, so please be gentle.  This was a spur of the moment fic, i was listening to the song "Undisclosed Desires" by Muse, and it occured to me that the lyrics are quite moving, as they are something that one lover would say to another.  Seeing as i am working on several other Harry/Draco fics i applied the lyrics there and found it worked quite well.

The two lovers were walking down the length of the lake, hands weaved together.  “It will be hard Draco,” Harry started saying.  “The best way for you to not have your past come back to bite you is to just move on from it, trust me I would know.”  “Well, I’ll have you know Harry that even though you may have moved on or forgiven everything from your past, my life hasn’t exactly been peaches and cream.”  Harry stopped and gave him an understanding look, and then started,

“Draco,

I know you've suffered
But I don't want you to hide

“Oh Harry!” Draco exclaimed as he took his lovers face into his hands and kissed him firmly. “Do you really mean all of that?” Harry opened his eyes which had closed from the firm and unexpected kiss and looked directly into those silver-grey orbs of his lover.  “Every word.”  He paused for a moment and a slight smile creeped onto his face but was quickly overtaken by a look of such longing that it caused Draco’s heart and lungs clench.  “I love you, Draco Malfoy.”  Draco had heard him say this before in passing, but to hear his lover say that with him looking at him in that way caused his heart to flutter even more and his breathing begin to come in short gasps.  He thought back over everything Harry had just proclaimed, and he understood how much his lover was willing to give up to have him in his life.  Looking at it from his lover’s perspective, it dawned on him that he was feeling the exact same way.  Thinking back on their troubled past his trademark smirk started to form on his face, and with these new revelations it turned into a full-on smile.  Looking back into those deep beautiful emerald green eyes he replied for the first time, “I love you too, Harry Potter.”  He leaned in and slowly drew his lips to Harry’s for a long languid kiss, trying to convey all the feelings his lover had stirred inside of him.  Harry allowed him and responded in kind and the kiss melted into heaven for each of them.  If they were together no matter what happened, through thick and thin, if they had each other nothing else truly mattered.
