Take my Breath Away
Prologue
He saw her leaning against a bookshelf in the library, chestnut curls cascading down her back. She was engrossed in the book she was currently pouring over, furiously taking notes on what she had been researching. She was breathtaking. He approached behind her and snuck his arms around her waist. She leaned against his tall frame and sighed. He kissed her neck and whispered in her ear “I love you, and I always will. No matter what anyone says about our relationship, I would have it no other way.” She turned to look him in his eyes, the deep onyx color portraying concern and devotion that most would not pick up on. “They can’t know, not until it is finished.” She replied. He leaned in and placed a delicate kiss on her lips as his hand snuck up to brush the small tear away from her eye. “It will all be alright in the end, if we make it through this I want to be with you forever.”
