The Acronym

Hundreds of Death Eaters poured from the mouth of the cave. Hermione rose boldly, her wand drawn , ready to face the approaching horde.

Snape looked up at her from his crouching position behind the stones, then slowly rose, his face unreadable as she proclaimed, "There's nothing to fear but Fear itself!"

The next thing Hermione knew was she was being dragged along with a fleeing Snape as shouts rang out and spells whizzed past them.

"You silly girl. Don't you know the word fear is an acronym?" Snape hissed at her as a green flash of light zipped past his head. He didn't miss a stride.

"An acronym? What do you mean an acronym?" Hermione panted as she half ran and was half jerked along.

"An acronym. F-E-A-R stands for Fuck Everything And Run!" Snape replied before Disapparating, Hermione in tow.
