Chapter One-

Waking up the day of his eighteenth birthday, Harry Potter instantly started scratching at his chest. Sitting up in his small bed, Harry looked down at his chest and he saw a big raised, red mark right over where his heart was. Oddly enough it looked almost like a broken heart if you stared at it long enough.

Feeling the need to itch building up again, Harry scratched at it, causing it to turn even redder. Forcing himself to stop, Harry jumped out of the bed and gathered up some clothes and crept out of his small bedroom and towards the bathroom, cringing and stopping when the floorboards creaked.

Holding his breath, Harry waited for Vernon to come charging up the stairs, yelling at him about disturbing his 'perfect family'. It only took him a few seconds to remember that the Dursley's had went to visit Marge so they could celebrate the 'freak' moving out for good.

Feeling slightly vindictive, Harry changed his clothes then left his old, ragged pajamas on the floor then turned the shower on along with the sink taps then left the room, whistling. Making his way back to his bedroom, Harry gathered up his things and packed them away before shrinking his trunk and putting it in his pocket.

Heading downstairs, since Sirius said he'd pick him up as soon as he could get away from his 'guards', Harry stopped to turn on every electronic and light on his way.

Hearing Sirius' familiar banging on the front door, Harry called out, “Come in, Siri!”

Almost instantly, the long haired man came barging through the door and grabbed Harry in a bear hug.

“Harry! Have those beasts been treating you okay? Where are they so I can teach them a lesson before we leave.”

“They went away for the weekend to celebrate my leaving.” Harry said, dryly. “I'm just leaving them a goodbye present...you want to help?”

“Oh can I go put some pranks around the house?” Sirius asked, looking gleeful.

“Go ahead. I'm just gonna finish turning on everything I can.”

Laughing, Sirius said, “That's a good idea. Don't forget to use the prank I taught you. Cast it on all the food and your relatives will have flatulence for months.”

Shaking his head with a laugh, Harry went into the kitchen and proceeded to turn on the taps before opening the fridge doors and leaving them open...going a little further he took Sirius' advice and cast the spell on the food in the fridge and the pantry.

Hearing Sirius cackling, Harry went to the bottom of the stairs and called up, “Sirius hurry up I want to get out of this place as soon as possible.”

Running down the stairs, taking them two at a time, Sirius said, “I plugged up the drains upstairs so they'll have a lovely little flood when they get back and I also spelled their clothes. So they'll put them on, but to others it'll look like they're naked.”

Gagging at the thought of seeing any of his relatives naked, especially Vernon with all that fat, Harry shuddered and felt sorry for any of the innocent people that would likely vomit from the sight.

“So are we going to Grimmauld Place?” Harry asked.

“No we're going somewhere else. Your mother wanted me to bring you there and to give you something that you'll need. She asked me not to say anything to you before you receive what she left for you there.”

“Where are we going?” Harry asked, confused.

“It's a house that belonged to your mother and her side of the family. It was locked down after your parents took you and went into hiding. It was set to open when you came of age and received all your inheritances.”

“But I came of age last year when I turned seventeen.”

“As a wizard yes.” Sirius said, leading Harry outside and to his motorcycle that was parked on some of the flowers lining the side of the driveway.

“All I have is my Wizarding inheritance...isn't it?”

Opening his mouth to reply, nothing came out so Sirius shook his head and said, “I can't say anything else. Just trust me, cub. Okay?”

“I trust you, Siri. Alright lets get going.” Harry said, climbing onto the motorcycle behind Sirius and held onto his waist.

“Is it a long ride?” Harry asked over the purring of the engine.

“Only about a half hour ride. It's actually in Shalford near a Centaur training racecourse.”

“You can tell me that but not exactly what's going on?” Harry asked, sounding a little amused.

Shrugging, Sirius said, “Thank your mom for that.”

Leaning his head against Sirius' shoulder, Harry said, “Wake me when we get there. I feel really tired for some reason.”

“Get some sleep, cub. You're gonna need it.” Sirius said.

Mumbling something, he wasn't sure what he had said, Harry closed his eyes and held on tightly, enjoying the breeze blowing against his body as they sped down the roads leaving 4 Privet Drive behind forever.

****END CHAPTER****

So here's the start of my next story. I'm trying my hand at a creature story, but I hope you all enjoy it even though there are so many creature stories out there to read.
