Summary: Sequel to Control and I highly recommend reading that first or this story will not make much sense. One year into their married life, Severus' former pet Sebastian pushes into their life. When Severus' behaviour changes dramatically, Harry has to find out who wants to destroy their lives and save his marriage.
Pairing: HP/SS
AN:I wanted to publish the first chapter on christmas eve as a present for my esteemed readers, even though I have not written more than four of five chapters. However, since I am very clear about where this story will go and have christmas holidays I figure it is save to do so. You have to wait for your chapters a little longer, so be patient.

Prologue
In a dark alley a cloaked figure was leaning with his back against a wall of an vacated industrial building, a smoking cigarette in his hand. The cobble street was white with snow that steadily fell onto the wizard's shoulders.
With an audible plop another figure appeared to join the other, just as cloaked as the first one.
Taking a deep drag of his cigarette the first one threw it on the floor, grinding it with his brown dragon leather boots.
“You asked for this meeting, so speak!”
His voice was raspy, deep and spoke of confidence. The other man pushed his cloak off his head, revealing a handsome face with long platinum blond hair flowing down to his shoulders.
“I was told you seem to have a grudge against a wizard that I want to get out of the picture.”
“Why is that?”
The blonde flicked his hair out of his face his grey eyes reflecting the light of a street lamp from the other side of the road.
“He stole what is rightfully mine.”
“Is that the case? I am afraid I am no longer in the business. Since the Dark Lord's downfall there is no reason to stick around, at least in my area of expertise. The whole wizarding world is in a state of chaos after the defeat.”
“Even though you are retired, this is an opportunity you cannot refuse.”
“And what opportunity would that be?”
“To destroy Harry Potter's life the same he destroyed yours. Take from him what he took from you, that should be incentive enough.”
It was silent for a while the blonde clearly getting impatient. Finally the cloaked figure spoke again.
“You are mad if you want him dead. He is a very powerful wizard and protected by many more powerful wizards.”
The blonde chuckled darkly.
“Oh I do not want him dead. I have no interest in seeing him die but there is one other chance to still destroy him beyond repair.”
“And what could that be?”
“Easy take away the person he loves most and he will crumble to the floor. End his relationship with Severus Snape and there will be no tomorrow for the boy-who-lived.”
