A \'Delicate\' Drabble

A/N ~ Well... as I'm dealing with a writer's block the size of the Great Wall right now with 'Walking Lines', I decided to try my hand at the weekly Dribs, Drabs & Doggie Tales @ the forum. The prompt was the word : Delicate. Hope you all enjoy it.

“Please... Professor... I need you to come back...”

The situation was indeed delicate.

He had awoken to find her tear and blood-streaked face hovering closely over him, her whiskey eyes bright in the way that only trauma can bring about. The soft creaking of the Shrieking Shack around him brought back the final betrayal of the Dark Lord and his ravenous Nagini. She leaned forward, resting her forehead on his own, her breath soft and delicate over his face and lips, gaze only for him. Her words nearly made his heart stop again.

“Harry won.”

He kissed her.
