The Animal of the Granger Clan

Hermione could hear the beating of her own heart pounding in her chest. She felt so cold and broken. Her hands shook at the memories that played through her mind, the cruel pain and humiliation she went endured day after day.

Footsteps could be heard coming down the hall of the home she grew up in.
"Please, just go away-just go away....Please." she begged to herself as the tears started falling. No such luck.
The bedroom door slammed open, the smell of alcohol was strong and the nausea soon took over her stomach.
In the door way stood Johnathon Granger-Hermione's father. He was drunk and looking at her with the same look he gave her every night.

"You... you filthy little demon." he spat at her.
