Panther and Fox

Part 1:

Why did it have to be them? They had done as asked and saved the world but it wasn’t good enough. ‘People’ always seemed to want more from them or to kill them.

is keep on trying till your call gets through

With a sigh of his emerald green eyes looked over to his phone, he knew what he had to do, even if it had been years since they had last meet he knew that they could always trust each other.

And for so many years I have been your friend
we've been through everything time and time again
but I want you to know that I still believe in you
all you've got to do is keep on trying till your call gets through

In an old rundown apartment a phone that never rang started to ring causing the blond haired man to look up from his paper work in surprise and to look at the phone, a true smile shone on his face shocking everyone around him.

said I'm always waiting here for you all you've got to do
is keep on trying till your call gets through

The shouting and tears that came from both ends of the phone shocked everyone in both countries. The two people to wear the best masks around had let them go talking to this mysterious other person on the phone.

You got to keep trying even though the road gets hard
you got to keep going on even though he broke your heart
and if you ever need a friend I will be here for you
all you've got to do is keep on trying till your call gets through

Both men grinning for the first time in years, they ran out of their room/office and out of the building into the street. They had somewhere special to be and everyone else could just get lost.

Part 2:

I remember thinking

Running was what both men did, they had to get ready and meet up. Though just as the blond man was about to go out of the door he stopped and looked at his picture of a emerald eyed boy with a lightning bolt scar on his head, if it wasn’t for that picture that they both had would they even know what the other sort of looked like anymore?

Racing around his apartment the raven black haired man turned and spotted the photo, even though he had been to war and back the weight of not being with his blond haired friend was his heaviest burdened.

Both men grinned at how they had met. They had both been trying to find some shelter from the harsh world and ‘people’ only to find safety within each other’s arms.

After the first meeting both men had found the strength to go on, they would be fine as long as they had each other.

The blond haired man sighed as he locked the door to his apartment, they had to separate for a couple of years with what the world and ‘people’ demanded on them and with everything that he had been though, the worse trial he had been through was being separated from his raven haired friend.

As both men ran for their nearest transport, both had the same thought in mind, could they ever be something more than ‘just friends?’

As they looked around the city that they first met in, they both knew that there would be tears and such but neither man could find it in themselves to care.

Though the world and ‘people’ had betrayed them, both men knew that they had each other to be stood by and stand by. They knew that no matter what they would stand by each other.

No matter what ‘people’ tried to do, kill them or worship them, they would stand together. As the blond haired man ran he rubbed his stomach to feel the warmth coming from the seal. Even though he had this seal his raven haired friend had stood by him in good time and in the darkest of times.

Part 4:

We must bring salvation back
Where there is love
I'll be there

Both men had been though the wars, hated by their people and loved by them, the salvation and the destruction but to both men they was just ‘people’ who didn’t really matter in the end as they had each other.

I'll reach out my hand to you

They had taken each other’s hand in more then brothership and friendship, they would be together no matter what fate had tried to throw at them and so fair they had and would continue to.

I'll be your strength
You know I'll keep holding on

Thanks to the blond haired mans seal and the raven black haired mans magic, they had been able to visit each other’s dreams and hold each other when the weight that was put on them by other ‘people’ became too much.

And I'll be there

They had been together though good and bad, they had had their first birthday parties together, talked about their first time at the park together and more. The times they had spent with each other had always been happy. Even that dreadful day when the raven hair man’s relatives had found out about their nephew having a friend.

With an unselfish love that respects you

And I'll be there

They wouldn’t let anyone hurt the other, even if they had been in different countries, pranks by owl and hawk post had been a blessing for both men.

There had been times that others had tried to get between them but after everything the ‘person’ couldn’t seem to join them as they just looked like a third wheel next to the two men.

As they slowed down their run into a quick walk, inside their heads the men were calling out for each other, knowing that it wouldn’t be long before they reunited with each other after so long.

As the men moved between the ‘people’ they kept looking for each other, knowing in their heart that the other one would appear any second.

And they where, within seconds of seeing each other they was in each other’s arms with tears of happiness running down their checks.
