A/N: Well if you can't tell I get really bored with my fan fictions and stop writing for awhile. What I really do is start another usually because it distracts me from the older ones so this is yet another fanfic… but I really like the idea of this one so maybe it will get finished. Hermione was on her way to her first class of the first semester of college. She had gotten into Yale, and she finally understood what made it so hard to get into, well for muggles anyways. It was a wizarding college. Only the best of the best wizards and witches could go there. So being a war hero and a witch genius she had enrolled and been excepted.
"No really Ced I think I can find my way, its not that hard." That was one the guys in her dorm, he apparently was very fascinated with her.
"Are you sure, cause it's no problem for me to take you there."
"Really. Besides your class is on the other side of campus and you'll be late if you walk me, just go." She would have to put in a transfer to another dorm if this kept up. She turned away and continued to her class.
As she entered the door to the building a rather blonde wizard blocked her path. She reached up and tapped him on the shoulder. "Excuse me but can you move so I can get to class?" she asked politely.
"Well, well, well, look who we have here?" she didn't even need him to turn around to see his face, she could recognize his voice.
She scowled at him, "So did you pay to get in here or did you threaten the headmasters life?"
He smirked back. "Neither, my name was enough for them to say yes." he leaned against the door frame. "So what's it been three - four months?"
"Five. Now if you'll excuse me I'd like to get to class."
He leaned closer. "I'll see you around, Granger" he said as he kissed her cheek.
She blushed as he walked past her and outside, without the cloud coverage of England's weather, the sun was almost blinding off of his hair, but Merlin he was gorgeous. She blushed again at her thoughts and started back to her class.
Later that day…
"You don't mind if I sit with you do you, Hermione?"
She looked up to see Cedric standing over her table. "No, of course not Ced, have a seat. But please keep the talking to a minimum I'm trying to study."
"Ok, no problem, me too."
They sat in silence for awhile. The only sound was the pages being turned in their text books and their pens scratching against the paper.
"So you got you a new boy toy?" the chair next to Hermione pulled back and was then filled and scooted closer to her.
Ced looked up and blushed. "Huh?"
"Ignore him, Ced, he's and arse." she turned to look the blonde wizard in the eyes. "Listen, Draco, just because you're here and I'm here does not mean you have to bother me, there are plenty of other people in this school."
He smirked. "Yes but you're the only one that I know personally, and I know a lot about you which makes it easier for me to bother you." he brushed a stray hair behind her ear making her blush. "Besides I was wondering why the Boy Wonder and his sidekick didn't follow you over here?"
She sighed. "We fell out of friendship, they apparently decided that since the war was over they didn't need me no more. And they are studying to be aurors in England."
"Now for some reason I can't believe that." he frowned. "You guys were so close."
"I know. So please don't rub it in. If you want to study together or whatever, cool, but please don't bring them up, and please don't pick on me." she looked miserable.
He nodded. "Sure we can study together." he looked up at Cedric. "Sorry if what I said offended you." both Hermione and Cedric jerked their heads up from their work to stare at him. "What a man can change can't he?" they nodded and went back to their work.
