Velamina Suerento

Velamina Suerento

"Hello all, Harry Potter here, umph...." Harry said, and then was cut off by a well placed hand over his mouth.

"And, Draco Malfoy. Also, seeing as my lover is a scene stealer, sometimes I have to shut him up". Draco intoned with a smirk.

Harry pried Draco's hand away from his mouth, shot him a glare, gave him a backhanded slap to the shoulder, and began the interview.

"You see, I, well Draco and I", Harry corrected as Draco shot him a glare, "thought we would discuss a spell we heard in the new Half Blood Prince movie".

"You mean the TRAVESTY of a movie". Draco mumbled.

"Yea, well, they did fuck it up, royally, in at least the true history of what happened. However, in the Bathroom scene..." Harry explained, but stopped when he noticed Draco stiffen.

"Yes, the bathroom scene, where they used the boys bathroom, instead of the girls, and Moaning Myrtle's at that". Draco deadpanned. "Then, on top of it all, my dear lover here, wasn't even PUNISHED"!

"Well, I was in real life". Harry chirped.

"You should have damn well been expelled, and you know it"! Draco exclaimed, and glared at Harry.

"Yea, well, I should have, I agree, but I wasn't. Draco, I have apologized time after time...." Harry started, but was again cut off with a glare.

"Yes, well, let's get on to the spell shall we"? Draco said, as he spoke to both Harry and the interviewer, clearly put out about the whole affair.

"Yes, the spell. Well, Snape uses a spell to heal Draco of his wounds, and it took me a while to translate the actors bad Latin. Though it's not the same as the spell mentioned in the book, I'll give them credit for coming up with what they did". Harry stated.

"Yes, the actual spell, that is not given in the book, sounds like a song in Latin. It is a multiple healing spell for a dark curse, and not as simple as the actor used". Draco commented.

"Yea, Draco, I was getting to that, geez! Anyhow, after listening to what the actor playing Snape said, I started looking through several spell books. Finally, I came upon the Latin spell used, and thought that I...", Harry paused again at Draco's glare, "or I mean, 'we', thought that we would share it with you.

"The spell he incanted was 'Velamina Suerento', though he could have improved on his Latin a bit. To understand the spell, you have to break it down, somewhat.

"Velamina, pronounced 'vuh-ley-min', means a skin, or covering. It is the basis for the word Velum, which originally was a tanned, thin, skin used to record important writing or drawings upon its surface. In this spell, it would mean 'skin'". Harry finished, and pointed to Draco.

"Suerento, though, must be broken into pieces. In the movie, the actor sounded as if he was saying 'Sorrento', which is a bloody city in Italy! After thinking it over, he was trying to say 'Suere', for the first portion, which translates to sew. Suere is the old Latin basis for suture also. To finish the word, 'nto' was tacked onto the end, and completed it.

"Thus, by adding the two words in an incantation, 'Velamina Suerento', which would translate to 'skin suture', or to just mean, bring the skin together. However, the dumbarsses in the movie industry showed the spell not only healing the actor, who played me, but also showed it sucking my blood back into me from the bloody wet bathroom floor! Can you imagine that, blood mixed with piss tainted water! The bloody nerve of the arses"! Draco shouted.

"Yes, I know Draco, they fucked it all up, just like they did with most of the movie. They didn't show you needing several blood replenishment potion's, nor needing to use Dittany to keep from scarring that beautiful body of your's".

At Harry's words, Draco's scowl left, and he preened in front of him. Harry was finally learning to work his words around, to keep Draco from going off the deep end.

"Now", both Harry and Draco intoned, "We hope that we have helped our readers with what they heard in the movie".

"Yes, now get the Hell out"! Draco exclaimed, pointing their interviewer toward the door. "Bloody fucking moron"!
