The End of an Era
The End of an Era.
Disclaimer_ I do not own Harry Potter. This is a work of fiction and I make no money from it.
Summary- There's something wrong with Harry. After one drunken night, Draco realizes the penalties of messing around with someone who is psychologically traumatized.
Author's Note: The story is a bit short, but I promise the next chapter is much longer. I've changed up the time line for the entire series. It may seem a tad far fetched, but alas, this is fan fiction. Year 1-events of book 1 and 2. Year 2- 3rd book. Year 3- 4th.
Year 4- 5th and beginning of 6th. Year 5- rest of 6th. Year 6- 7th. Year 7- story starts, Hogwarts is reopened most of the student's that are still alive have gone back to school. This story does contain explicit sex. If that bother you please don't read any further.
Part One: Not quite the beginning of our problems.
Harry unzips my pants and I steady myself as he tugs them down my ankles. Looking into my eyes, he leans forward taking my cock into his mouth.
"Oh God Harry." I moan letting my eyes fall shut. He smacks my thigh and I feel him pull away.
"Keep your eyes open. I want you to see what I'm doing to you."
I open my eyes and he takes me back into his mouth.
'Whatever you want Draco.' His voice whispers in my mind.
Instinct takes over and I grab the back of his head, shoving him down further. I feel him gag and I pull away slightly.
"This is perfect...you're perfect."
I slowly fuck his mouth. He sits back on his thighs, hands grasping my hips. His moans send chills up my
spin and I thrust faster. He does something with his tongue and I instantly come, filling his mouth. When I'm empty he stands.
"Did you enjoy it?"
I nod pulling up my pants, "Of course."
"It can always be like this. Always perfect. Just tell me we'll be together forever."
He took a step towards me. His green eyes shimmering with happiness and a touch of insanity. I should have known this was too good to be true.
"Get out of my dreams Potter."
He takes a step back, face falling.
"It was that last bit wasn't it? I knew I should have kept my mouth shut.Sometimes I just can't help myself. I was just so happy
that I pleased you." He lets out a strange little laugh, " Listen to me, rambling on."
"Potter, you need to stop this. It's insane."
As soon as the words were out of my mouth I regretted them.
"I'm not crazy. Take it back."
Dead. That's the only word I can use to describe his voice, his features. Fuck. I needed to wake up before things got out of hand.
"Take it back!" He screams, face suddenly twisting up in anger.
I hold my hands up to keep him from getting closer. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that."
wake up wake up wake up
In an instant, he was smiling again.
"You don't think I'm crazy do you? I know people are saying that. They say that when Voldemort killed me, he took pieces
of my mind with him. One last victory. Like he didn't take enough from me already..." he trails off and is silent for several seconds.
He shakes his head, "They think I should be locked away."
"People don't think that."
psycho
"What did you say?"
"I said, people don't think that-"
"Yes they do! I can hear their whispers in my mind. And that's not what you said. Don't you fucking lie to me Draco."
No fucking way, not my mind too.
I clench my fists, nails digging into my palms, "I would never lie to you Harry."
That's it Draco. Use his first name. He likes that. Calm him down until you can get out of here.
No sooner did I think it, then the room started changing. The classroom we were in melted around us, and a new one formed in its place. A smaller one. A single candle was the only source of light. I could hear chains rattling against each other as his shadow moved around the edges of the room.
you need to wake up now.
"I'm not ready for you to leave yet."
My nails drew blood and I squeezed harder.
I don't want to be here anymore. Wake up!
"Goddamnit Draco, wake up!"
My eyes fly open and panic sets in as I blindly fight with the hands shaking me..
I gasp, sucking in a deep breath of air as the curtains of darkness covering my eyes was lifted. Blaise was leaning over me, frowning slightly.
"You okay?" he stands straight, and I sit up in bed.
"I'm fine."
"Want to talk about it?"
"No."
"Draco, you were screaming."
Shit.
" He's in my dreams now. I couldn't...he wasn't going to let me leave."
Blaise lets out a low whistle, "Fu-uck."
"I know."
"You need to handle this. Ignoring him, the situation only seems to be making things worse."
No shit. "I know. What time is it?"
"Early. The sun is barely up yet."
"I'm going to take a shower."
"I'll be downstairs." he walks away, leaving me to myself. I groan and get out of bed. I can still hear the chains rattling in my head.
I shudder and quickly head for the shower. Thirty minutes later I was walking down the stairs into the common room. More familiar faces
than new greeted me. After the war the number of student's at Hogwart's dropped significantly. Most of that came from Slytherian.
Over half the kids in the house were either killed during battle, or pulled out by the surviving parent. The number of first years coming in was the other reason for the drop.
A lot of parents still didn't trust Hogwarts to be safe. Safe without Dumbledore, not safe because they were able to get in once. The scattered remaining might try to take their revenge out on the children. Not safe because kids like me were still here. The bad ones.
I walk up to Blaise, shaking the thoughts from my mind.
"Thanks for waiting."
He nods standing, "I'm starving, lets go."
I laugh and we head to the Great Hall. When we reach the main floor, my stomach starts jumping. I'm nervous. Can we make it to the table without being seen by Harry?
Did we come early enough/ We walked through the entry doors and I kept my eyes on our table. My face set in a mask of cocky indifference. Blaise would keep watch for me. Even after everything, the houses were still divided. Slytherians were still hated. Now, we're the outcasts. Most of us didn't care though. We hadn't planned on befriending the other houses anyways.
We made our way to the far corner of the hall to our seats. All of the sixth and seventh years sat together in the middle, facing the rest off the tables, backs against the wall. Call us paranoid.
"Is he here?"
"No. I don't see any of them actually."
If I believed in God, I'd thank him. I fill my plate, keeping on ear tuned to the mostly mindless chatter going on around me. Blaise starts talking about the Charms work, and I turn my attention to him. Neither one of us mention this morning again. We try not to discuss Harry outside the safety of our rooms.
The rest of the day sped by quickly. Not a thing went wrong. By dinner time, whispers of Harry Potter's absence spread through the school like wildfire. Some were saying that
he had gotten into a huge fight with one of his younger housemates. That he stormed off in the middle of the night raging. Others say that he was rushed to the Hospital wing by his friends early this morning. They say that he had been screaming and clawing at himself. They couldn't get him to stop...
Whichever one was true, I didn't care. All that mattered was that I had had my first Potter free day in a very long time. There's nothing sweeter in the world.
