*~*~*~*~*~*~Enjoy*~*~*~*~*~*~

The air was calm, as everyone along the street of Privet Drive was asleep. The only person awake was a brunette teen, almost adult, who was packing up his belongings. His trunk was already by the door of his bedroom while he packed his school bag. A snowy white owl softly hooted in the corner as the teen smiled.

"Dont worry Hedwig we will be out of here in a few minutes," the teen said as the bright red numbers of his clock on his bedside read 11:59. A minute till he was 17. Old enough to be out from under the control of his relatives. Old enough to make his own choices. Being Harry Potter was never easy but it was about to get much better. He zipped up his bag as he set it on his trunk. Hedwig ruffled her feathers as she looked out the window. Harry followed her line of sight as the familiar site of black smoke followed by a figure made the teen break into a cold sweat. "Shit." he hissed as he snatched up his stuff, shrinking it plus Hedwig stuffing them into his pocket. His wand in hand, he made his way down the stairs looking out the window. A long row of Death Eaters were surrounding the house almost waiting. Harry gulped as he looked at the clock in the living room seeing it strike midnight. Harry looked out the window as he saw a shimmer around the house slowly disappear. Suddenly the figures rushed for the front door. Harry waved his wand apperating away from the staircase with no particular location in mind.

Suddenly he found himself in a part of London that seemed familiar. He looked around sensing the anger Voldemort was feeling. A sly grin made it's way onto his lips as he walked around. After getting his bearings he realized that he was near Burrow. That would be the first place Voldemort would look for him. Grimmuald Place may be better, but only the Order Members were there. Sirius would help him. He began to make his way towards the house he had grown to love. The familiar stairs seem to welcome him as he knocked on the door. The door opened to show Molly standing there smiling.

"Harry there you are! We were just going to come get your from your relatives," she said as Harry shook his head stepping in.

"Death Eaters were surrounding the house just waiting for the wards to go down." Harry said as Molly led him into the home. The mood seemed rather solum as he looked around. In the living room was Hermione in Ron's arms on the couch, with a pissed off looking Ginny next to Ron. On the other couch, much to Harry's shock, was Lucius with his son, Draco, sitting on another couch. Draco had his head high but his eyes were a storm of emotions. Over by the arm chair was Sirius and Remus, both of whom were rather calm. "What's going on? Why are those two here?" Harry asked pointing to Lucius and Draco.

"They are here because there is something you need to know Harry," A voice behind Harry spoke making Harry spin around. Dumbledore stepped forward as he looked over to Draco who turned his head away. Lucius gently rested his hand on the back of Draco's neck.

"What is it?" Harry asked as he tried to understand the rainbow of emotions in the room.

"You see Harry when you were a baby, Lily had a nightmare that soon her life would end and she wanted to make sure you were going to be alright when you became of age. Without letting James know she contacted Narcissa Malfoy and told her about the dream." Dumbledore began as Harry looked at Lucius who seemed calm but Draco was leaning against Lucius with the lost child look. "Narcissa suggested that she arrange a contract, that when you turn 17 that you would be arranged to marry her son-" Dumbledore was cut off by Harry.

"WHAT?! I'M ARRANGED TO MARRY A GUY! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE GUY WHO HAS MADE MY LIFE A LIVING HELL?!" Harry yelled as Draco cringed.

"Harry mate calm down please," Ron said as he looked up at Harry. Before Harry could say anything Draco sprang up and dashed up the stairs his head in his hands. The silence that followed was almost deafening.

"Harry it is not as bad you might think." Dumbledore said as Harry turned fast.

"Not as Bad?! What is your definition of bad?!" Harry yelled as Dumbledore's normal sparkling eyes turned hard as stone.

"Narcissa's real reason for arranging the marriage was to bring you to the Dark Lord to kill easily. If you were married to her son you wouldn't think twice about going somewhere with your mother-in-law. That is why Lucius is here. He wishes for his son to be happy but the marriage agreement is binding and there is no way to stop it." Dumbledore finished as Harry's jaw dropped then looked to Ginny who stood up and walked past him out the back door.

"I need to get some air," Harry said quickly as he ran after Ginny. Outside Ginny was sitting on a rock-bench Sirius had put out there.

"Ginny I never wanted for this to happen." Harry said as Ginny crossed her arms and crossing her legs her face that of anger.

"Why dont you go and comfort him?" her voice was full of venom as Harry raised an eyebrow.

"Look I cant stand Malfoy you know that. Why are you acting like i did this on purpose?" Harry asked as Ginny stood up.

"Because I'm tired of waiting for you Harry. Ever since I met you I wanted to be your girlfriend. And now that I am your girlfriend you never do anything with me! Nothing! I get no affection from you. You are an emotional zip! I have been wanting to break up with you for so long, but I kept thinking that you would be alone. Well now that you have Malfoy you can ignore him the way you ignore me." Ginny finished as Harry felt his stomach drop to his toes.

"Ginny... why are you doing this? I love you," Harry said as Ginny shook her head.

"You love the idea of having a girlfriend Harry, but you dont know the first thing about being a GOOD boyfriend." Ginny said as she moved to him. "I wish you the best with Malfoy," Ginny said as she walked inside. Harry stood rooted to that spot for what seemed like an eternity. Ginny didn't want to be with him. Was he that bad of a boyfriend? Did he do so bad as a boyfriend that no woman would want him? Well he would never since he was going to marry a man and not only a man but Draco bloody fucking Malfoy! He was so tired of not having choice in his life that this was just another thing in his life he had no say in. After a few minutes the door opened and a hand rested on his shoulder. Harry turned around to find Lucius standing there. Harry jerked his shoulder away as his eyes turned hard.

"Why are you out here? Here to gloat?" Harry asked as Lucius shook his head.

"My son locked himself in his room and refuses to come out." Lucius said as Harry snorted.

"So he's having a temper tantrum. So what do you want me to do about it?" Harry asked as Lucius sighed heavily.

"It's not a tantrum Harry. He is hurt. Emotionally speaking. And I wish for you to go up there and talk to him," Lucius said as Harry raised an eyebrow.

"Why should I? I mean he hasn't given me a reason to be nice to him," Harry said as Lucius ran a hand over his head.

"Please Harry just talk to him. Thats all I ask." Lucius pleaded as Harry's eyes widened. Lucius Malfoy was pleading? THE Lucius was pleading to Harry Potter. Damn.

"Fine ill go talk to him," Harry said as he walked past Lucius and up the stairs. The stairs led up to a long hall of doors. The only shut one was all the way down the hall. It had been the Twins' bedroom when they stayed there. Harry gently lifted his hand softly knocking.

"Go away Father!" Harry blinked rapidly. That voice did not sound like Malfoy in the least.

"Malfoy it's Harry. Your father wanted me to get you to come out." Harry thought he heard a sniffle as a hiccup followed.

"Tell my father that I dont want to come out." the voice said as Harry sighed.

"You know that I could easily break into this room. I have a master key from Sirius. But I'm giving you the chance to open it yourself." Harry said thinking he could bluff Draco out. It seemed to work because after a few minutes of silence the door unlocked and the door opened. The Draco that stood in front of him was completely different from the Draco he had grown used to. That Draco never let the cool exterior disappear, but the face of this Draco was complete depression. His cheeks were pink from tears that caused his mercury eyes to be red and puffy. Harry looked at him in surprise as he gently looked Draco over.

"I never took you for the weepy type. Can I come in?" Harry asked as he felt his Gryffindor pride start to take over. He couldn't let Draco, no matter how mean he had been to him, feel this bad. Draco slowly stepped aside to the the Gryffindor into the room. Slowly the blonde shut the door, leaning against it.
"So how come you stormed out? Was it because of how I was acting? Because if it was I am very sorry if I hurt your feelings," Harry said as Draco looked away.

"I know you dont like me Harry but... there is nothing that can change what is going to happen." Draco said as he turned away looking out a window that showed the dark sky.

"You dont want to marry me do you Draco? I mean you can't want to marry me." Harry said as Draco bit his lip. Silence was what met the question. "Draco... do you want to marry me?" Harry asked stepping over. Draco's shoulders tensed up as he kept his back to Harry. "Draco at least turn and look at me." Harry said as Draco slowly turned keeping his head down. "Do you want to marry me?" Harry asked as the blond was visibly shaking. "You do dont you? Thats why you ran off in tears." Harry said as Draco covered his face with his hands.

"Im sorry... my father told me about the agreement 3 months ago. I guess i was kinda happy." Draco said as his voice was filled with tears. Harry's eyes widened as he watched the tears flow down from those mercury eyes.

"But why are you happy? I mean... you hated me." Harry said as Draco shook his head.

"No thats not true. I never hated you. My mother told me that I should uphold the Malfoy name or I would embarrass my family. So she told me to act like my father when he is at work. I guess it just made things really bad between us." Draco said as Harry looked more confused than ever.

"So you never hated me? But then why have you fought with me so much?" Harry asked as Draco bit his lip.

"I told my mother after first year that I didn't want to be mean anymore, but she told me that if I didn't then she would divorce my father and take me away. I love my father." Draco said as his body continued to shake.

"So you just followed what your mother said for years? Hmm.. that makes sense," Harry said as Draco looked up at him.

"What do you mean?" Draco asked as Harry gently took a tissue out of the box next to the blonde and gently wiped his tears away.

"When you used to try and be mean to me I always found it odd that the anger never reached your eyes. I noticed that your eyes seemed to be very sad. I just thought it was because you just weren't loved." Harry said as Draco looked away.

"My father always said I gave away what I really felt through my eyes." Draco chuckled slightly as Harry held the tissue to Draco's nose. Draco blew hard as the Gryffindor wiped it away.

"So are you alright?" Harry asked as Draco slowly nodded.

"You dont want to marry me and i understand that Harry." Draco said lowering his head. Harry gently lifted Draco's head looking at him in the eye.

"I will marry you, because if your mother wants me, she will have to fight for me. Besides I'm not at the Dursley's so anything is better than that," Harry said as Draco's eyes widen his astonishment was apparent.

"So... you want to marry me?" Draco asked as Harry shrugged.

"I dont have much of a choice." Harry said as Draco's face broke into a bright smile as he tackled Harry to the carpet whispering thank you over and over again. Harry blushed as he gently pulled Draco's arms off his neck.

"Too much contact right now. Please don't do that again," Harry said as Draco quickly got off the brunette.

"Sorry got a little too excited there. I promise no touching." Draco said as Harry nodded.

"Good... You realize that im not gay right?" Harry asked standing up as Draco nodded.

"Of course. Believe me I understand," the blond said as Harry sighed softly.

"Come on lets go down stairs and tell everyone the good news." Harry said as Draco nodded walking out the door with Harry. Downstairs the information was gauged from a calm and cool exceptence by Lucius and Dumbledore to slightly unnerved by Remus and Hermione to outright blasphemous rage from Sirius and Ron. After much yelling and threats of removal of vital organs the two men settled down.

"Now Sirius i know you don't like this, but this is Harry's choice and he has made it," Remus said as Sirius glared at Lucius. Ron meerly glared daggers at Draco who slightly hid behind Harry.

"So what happens now?" Harry asked as Dumbledore stepped foreward.

"The wedding will take place the week before you go back to school. It will take us that long to get everything arranged. In the mean time, Draco and yourself may spend time together planning the details of the ceremony and the reception," Dumbledore said as Harry nodded. "The of course there is the act of consummating the marriage." Dumbledore included as Harry looked at his Headmaster as if he had grown another head.

"Say what?!"
