Not So Much
From the Author: This is my first attempt at a story. I love to read HP fanfics and I decided I would try one. I have combined many ideas from different stories and added my own twists. I would like to say that I want you opinion but not if it is rude or hateful. Yes there are many ideas that are similar to others, but there are so many ideas on this site that it is hard not copy an idea from some one else. I mean you start writing because you saw something in another story that caught your interest right? Any way enough talking here is the first chapter, let me know if I should keep going…
Prologue
Blaise Zabini was a very quiet man. He did not like to air his personal information for the world to criticize. He like his personal life just as it was, personal. He was very loyal but not to the point of stupidity. He knew a stupid idea when he saw one, which was why he had never taken sides in the war. Voldermort was and idiot but Dumbledore was nosey, and he had a way of finding out every thing from your true feelings about a subject all the way down to the type of underwear you were wearing.
But the information he held in his hand was a problem. Not necessarily for him but for some one who meant a lot to him. Very few people know about his relationship with this person, okay lets be honest other than his mother no one knew about his relationship with this person and they liked it like that. Not because he did not want to information known, but because she did not want their relationship known.
He narrowed his eyes at the parchment in his hand but he was not really looking at it. He knew her reasons for wanting to keep their relationship secret but it was starting to upset him. Hadn’t the war already ended? Granted the war had only been over for half a year and he had not seen her since before then but he had expected her to come running to him. He wanted everyone to know what they were, they might not be much but they still shared something very few others would expect. He had wanted her to come to him of her own accord and they would make their relationship public after that. He glanced back at the piece of paper in his hand; this was going to be a problem however. He quickly got up from his desk and walked down the stairs of his family’s manor. As he reached the bottom of the stairs he asked a house elf where he could find his mother and was told she was in her gardens.
Blaise walked outside and found Ana Zabini sipping tea and staring absently across the sea of roses before her. She was a tall woman with shoulder length black hair and dark chocolate colored skin.
“Morning Mother, “He dropped a kiss on her cheek, “Have you seen the paper?”
“Yes, and I think that the minister is making a huge mistake. You are up early.” She looked closer at her son. He was a tall, good looking man usually with a large smile on his face but this morning was different. He was frowning, and dressed! All before 11:00 a.m. Something was wrong, and she was sure she was not going to like it.
“I am going to get her.”
“No Blaise, she asked us for some space and we are going to give that to her. I want her here as much as you but we cannot force her. I think-“but her son was already walking away. Ana shook her head, men never listened.
Blaise walked to the front of the manor and prepared to dissaperate. He knew he was going to have some issues getting her here but times were about to become difficult and she was going to need her family to help her. And to be honest, he thought and he disappeared with a pop, he was going to need her help!

Albus Dumbledore stared in shock and mild amusement at the ministry letter in his hands. He blinked several times and read the letter for a fifth time in the last 10 minutes. The ministry could not be serious, thinking to enforce this law, could they? He would like think that the ministry would have had their share of stupid decision, considering how they had handled the return of Voldermort and almost their entire handling of the war, but according to this letter they had not learned their lesson.
Dumbledore slowly stood up from his chair and went over the fire in his office and picked up a little bag of green dust. He threw a pinch into the fire and called for Minerva. Within seconds Minerva’s head appeared in his fire place looking slightly annoyed.
“Yes Albus?”
“If you have a minute Minerva I need to speak with you about something rather important.” Albus said with a small smile.
“How important, I am still finishing the 7th years’ class schedules for this semester.”
“That’s what I wanted to talk about. I will expect you here in about an hour.”
With that Albus walked back to his desk and read the letter again, slightly chuckling. The teachers had thought the war was difficult, what the ministry had done was going to be 10 times worst than anything Voldermort could ever try. He rubbed the bridge of his nose; this year was going to be painful to say the least.
