The Malfoy Trial. Introduction
This story is about what happens when Draco is sentenced to be under Harry’s mentorship by the Wizengamot. Draco knows he’s gay, but what about Harry?
It is funny how a simple idea grows when you start writing – this was to be a short one-off. I had to be ruthless as the sixteenth chapter drew to a close. The original idea was that Harry had to corporally chastise Draco, and the victim was very much turned on by it. Somehow the punishment became a public show, so the sexy bit had to wait until they were more private.
The usual Ron/Hermione pairing is inferred, and another gay coupling of Seamus and Justin briefly touched upon. A reformed Kreacher has a mate in Winky and there are two gay elves to assist our main characters.
Amounts of male on male in each chapter, except the first couple. Some of the chapters hark back to Voldie’s tortures and are a bit gruesome. Vernon’s treatment of Harry goes further than the books suggest, too.
I tried to keep it in line with all the books’ themes, but what happens afterwards leaves an enormous set of blanks to be filled, thank Merlin. Then there’s that infernal conclusion – it’s only a few pages in the books. So I gave it a couple of lines at the end of my story.
I touch on titles – so beloved of Anglo-Saxon society; so Wizengamot heads of Houses are always addressed formally as Milord or Milady.

Only used when a Mage holds 2 equal seats [See Legate] [4 votes]
Harry gets into this mess when House Potter is made up to Great.

Only used for representative of Archimage [2 votes]
Harry has to appoint a legate during the story

I have assumed Arithmancy is about the magic numbers 3 & 7
[ie. 7+3=10 or 3x7=21 or 3x3=9.
I spent a whole day working out fantasy numbers – try it – it’s fun]
Wizengamot = 49 seats [7x7] - 98 total votes [7+(3x7)+(7x7)+(3x7)]
7 voting units if you include the chairman as separate; plus each faction has 3.
Elected Chairman for life. Elected from either faction and then relinquishes his or her constituency; a bye-election is held or another appropriate appointative procedure.
