Chapter I
Well, Lovelies. I hope that the last story was good enough to recommend this to you.
If you haven't read A Muddy Secret, I would recommend it before this.
This is one of my sequels. I intend to do two separate scenarios. One will be lighter and the other, well, dark.
I hope that these please you as well as the wait.
LUPIN and LUCIUS and SNAPE are my hotties and my inspiration. Now that that is out of my system. I am ready to post the chapter...

For my final words of wisdom,
Here we go again.

Hermione stared after the man. Disappointment ate at her heart like slugs eating the school cabbages. She felt so bad for what she did. She had been terrified. What was she supposed to have done when two death eaters were running at her?
She could admit that Lucius didn’t look like he meant her harm. She could admit that he sounded worried. She could admit that his face right before she vanished had been a look of fear so intense that she wondered what his boggart was.
She could admit that Mr. Malfoy's words had frightened her a bit. She could admit that he acted as if she'd snubbed him. And she rather had.
Ron groaned.
Hermione jumped and dropped to her knees at his side.
“What happened Hermione? I feel like I just got run over by stampeding centaurs.”
“Lucius Malfoy knocked you out with a stunning spell.”
“WHERE IS HE? I’LL KILL HIM!” Ron yelled, leaping to his feet before he had to grab the sink to steady himself.
“Why are you always in my bathroom?” a whiny girl’s voice sounded behind them.
Hermione ignored Myrtle’s incessant voice.
“Malfoy left.”
“What did he do to you?”
"Fine, don't talk to me," Myrtle said, squealing before she dived into toilet bowl.
“He didn’t,” Hermione paused for a moment, “do anything to me.”
“What’s in your hand?” Ron asked, pointing to the glass vial in Hermione’s hand.
She looked down at it for the first time. Where did it come from? She lifted it and turned it. The silvery, smoky fluid gave off a shimmering light, and when she turned it just the right way, she could see the black-green and silver on the glass that was a coat of arms engraved.
Two dragons were coiled supporting center shield which was divided into four sections, the upper left and lower right had crowns in them and the upper right and lower left had two snakes apiece that were twined around each other to form twisted heart shapes. The crest was a lady holding a sword, and above her just faintly, Hermione could see that it read Malfoy. And at the bottom, also faintly, she could read Amor mortem vincam. It warmed her heart to read that.
“What is it?”
“L-Malfoy gave it to me.”
“Get rid of it. Slimy gits!”
“Don’t say that. He must have given me these memories for a reason.”
“Who cares? He is a bastard.”
Hermione turned hot eyes on him. Lucius was not a bastard, but Mr. Malfoy? What was he?
“Please don’t say that.”
“Do you remember second year, when he fought my dad?”
Hermione ignored him.
“We need to go and find Harry,” Hermione said.
Ron nodded and they ran off.
Hermione stowed the memories in her robes pocket as they ran through the halls.
“I’m going to get you! MUDBLOOD!” a loud voice yelled.
“Run RON!” Hermione yelled, taking off down a narrow hallway.
Hermione heard the werewolf, Fenrir Greyback, chasing her. She didn’t dare look back at it as she ran toward Gryffindor Tower praying that it would be safe within.
The Fat Lady stood like a sentinel blocking the tower.
“Go in dear. I won’t let him hurt you.”
Hermione leapt through the opening. It slammed shut behind her.
She waved her wand in a circle in the air, “Cave Inimicum.”
Unable to hear or be heard, see or be seen, smell or be smelled, touch or be touched by the enemy, Hermione slid down before the fire.
Clunk.
Hermione looked down and saw the vial with its shining, smoky silver memories. She picked it up. Twisting it in the light, she saw the Malfoy coat of arms engraved again upon the glass.
She read the motto at the bottom.
Amor mortem vincam.
She smiled as she read the message. It was comforting.
Hermione squeezed the vial. The liquid like smoke glowed a more brilliant shade of silver deadening out the firelight around her.
Feeling herself to be safe from the monster, Hermione slowly removed the stopper from the vial and dipped the tip of her wand into it.

Well, I hope that this proves to be as entertaining as the first. *inclines head to readers* Please do leave a review for me.
The translation - Amor mortem vincam is "Love will conquer death." Assuming that my memory of Latin serves me well. At the very least, it is quite CLOSE!
