The Doom Triangel
Part One.
Harry paced around the room annoyed. It was not the first time, not the second time that he had been stood up, but the tenth time in just one week.
It was a new term, Christmas was over and the iced up fields had started to melt back to normal, but yet was Draco to turn up for their privet lessons together. It was in the holidays while staying at Hogwarts that Harry had finally got an answer to his questions.
>Potter.
What is it to you anyway. So what if I'm into Mudblood Granger, what are you going to do?
Meet me in that secret room of yours and I will tell you my reasons. Lunch first day back to term.
Don't bother me again.
Malfoy.<
On reading this Harry felt a little down hearted. He knew that Hermione had class and in the last few years a lot of guys had asked her out but Harry just didn't want Draco to go after her, Harry wanted Draco to go after him. Harry wanted to be loved, by the one person that had made life hell.

Ron was angry, 'Why doesn't he ever look at me?' His head cried. Years now Ron had fallen in love with him but it was just so hard to show somebody his true feelings.
He himself had tried so hard to deny them but he knew for sure now that they meant something. They were real and he just wished that he could make Harry see. But no, all Harry cared about was making sure Malfoy the bouncing ferret does not break Hermione's heart.
Nobody knew how Ron felt, well he hoped that nobody did considering Neville had walked into the dorm room while Ron was looking through Harry's draws for some of his boxes. Ron’s excuse was that he was looking for an extra quill that Harry had said he could borrow.
Ron thought about these boxes. On walking in on Harry while he had the boxes halfway down his legs and his whole large package was hanging down. Ron felt his world stop. He made a big deal about it, pretending that it was just totally disgusting but really inside Ron wanted to run Harry down and start massaging it.
In getting these boxes Ron thought that he’d be able to always remember that moment, what his best friend, his secret crush really looked like, outside and inside. He was in love with a guy who could be dead just so suddenly.

Draco entered the room to find Harry reading a book. It was not normal for the two to be in the same room, talking civil, Draco had even tried to put it off but he knew it had to be done.
“Reading again ScarHead!” Draco snarled.
Harry turned with a surprised look on his face. The book dropped and Draco snorted at the idiots clumsiness.
“You kept putting it off.” Harry said.
“I do get busy Potter. I have friends.” Draco replied.
“So, you really want to go out with Hermione, I’m guessing from your reply.” Harry continued lamely.
“And you can’t stop me.” Draco snapped.
Draco gave Harry a dagger. 'God, is that all the guy cares about, that stupid MudBlood. Boy, he is so love deprived.' Draco thought to himself.
“I just don’t want you to hurt her.” Harry told him.
Draco watched as Harry put the book away and then stand up. As he did Draco saw how tight Harry’s pants went. As Harry bent over to pick up his bag Draco had himself a little perve.
'Boy is that some good meat.' His head screamed. Draco looked up at Harry’s face as his enemy turned, a pined look on his face.
Draco’s stomach did butterflies, 'he does,' he thought. For a while Draco had wondered if Harry had liked Hermione and from the look he was right. But for Draco it was not good. In fact, Draco did not really want Hermione but Harry and had used her as a cover up.
Knowing that it was a waste of time Draco sighed and left the room. He knew he was giving up on Harry too easily, but Draco knew if Harry liked Hermione then there was no more point in fighting to win him as his own.
