The Gift
Harry held out his hands to Draco. He had spent weeks looking for this, and this was meant to be a gift, a remembrance of their past, never forgotten.
Draco took the heart-shaped maple leaf from Harry’s hands, and he could feel his resolve weakening. However, this would never end the way they wanted it to be. They were both the only heirs of their families, and the wizarding world would never openly accept a gay couple.
Gazing into Harry’s tear-filled eyes, he brushed a kiss along his cheek. “I love you.” He whispered, then turned around and walked away.
Yeah I know. I've been spending more time answering challenges then writing my own fics. Chapter four of JTM's squeezing its way out though. Give it awhile more. By the way, this challenge is found here.
