Author Note: I like to write and read many things and one day when I couldn't do anything else I began to write it. So far I have around thirty chapters. Normally I just write for my amusement. But then after getting so far I wanted to share it. So hopefully you will enjoy this and if you have suggestions at anytime I'm game.

{HOGWARTS GRIFFINDOR COMMON ROOM: NOVEMBER 20TH 1972; 10:50pm}

James Potter and Lilly Evans were sitting in a red leather sofa wrapped in each other's arms, when Lilly turned to James. " We need
to talk about something James."

As he turned to face his girlfriend of two year with confusion.
" What about Lilly-flower?"

Taking a deep breath Lilly spoke softly. " Remember the last time we were in the throws of passion? (James nodded) We forgot to place the charm."

James blinked in confusion trying to figure which charm they would of needed. Before his eyes widened and gasped. "No?"

But his fears were confirmed by the look on his flower's face and he sighed." Ok, let's just think about this. Now that would mean your about a month along. Yes?"

Lilly nodded in reply, causing James to figure the kid would be here around the end of July and Lilly wouldn't start to show badly until the end of May. Meaning they could hide the pregnancy until summer and then go from there.

" Ok, don't panic we'll be able to hide this until summer. I'll write to my parent's and when summer comes will deal with it." James explained softly trying not to upset Lilly. But he wasn't about to keep this kid. They still had one more year of schooling and couldn't raise a kid now.

" I agree James. And thank you for not yelling or blaming me for this. I've been so worried that you would." sighed Lilly as James kissed her cheek.

As the months past, James true to his word their secret was kept the only one's that knew were his parent's and they weren't very happy with the knowledge Lilly was with child.

When April came Lilly had to place a consealment charm around her stomach. That was a mess to remember and when alone they spoke about adoption. They weren't going to keep the child to them it was a mistake. One they planned to bury and never look back.

Finally the end of their sixth year was here and they were exiting the Hogwart's express. When they saw James's parents motion them to come. Once together they left quickly so Lilly could release that charm and have a long discussion on what was going to happen come July.

{POTTER MANSION, IRELAND}


Lord Harold Potter moved all into the parlor for the conversation that was going to take place. But first he needed a Scotch just to be able to talk about the topic. Taking a small sip he began. " Now we have a major problem here. I really don't care one way or another, but if you decide to keep the child. Both of you will remain here and be home schooled for your final year at Hogwart's. Taking your NEWT exams at the Ministry."

" We want to put the child up for adoption." James & Lilly stated as one.

Lady Eveyln Potter looked at the two in shock. But when her husband voiced his agreement, she remained silent.

" So the child will be placed in an Orphanage directly after it is birthed. But you must name the child reguardless. Due to the fact if the child get an invite to Hogwart's you want to cover your arse's."
Lord Potter explained harshly.

After that the four of them began making arrangements for Lilly to give birth at home. Due to the fact Lady Potter was a Healer making it easier at keeping this birth quiet. And for that Harold Potter was greatful.

As the summer progressed they were getting ready for the birth. The tension was starting to run high especially when James's friends were banned from the Manor for July. Harold didn't care what excuses James made just as long as they didn't get any suprizes. Both he and his wife had announced they would be traveling the months of July and August just to cover their tracks.

{JULY 31,1973: 10am}


Potter Mansion was a buzz all morning waiting for Lilly to start labor, much to their dismay it hadn't even begun. Harold was beginning to think they had gotten the conseption date wrong. But he knew better the day had to be right, so perhaps the hour was not.

Lilly was also worried she had indigestion since breakfast and was going to the bathroom every half-hour. She just couldn't wait until the time came, so she could get this over with.

James was in a similar state, he was pacing, he wanted the child out,named,and gone in that order and soon.

At 2pm, Lilly was in the bathroom and she saw blood. Screaming for Evelyn she waited. When the women arrived she showed her the problem. But was told that it was normal and she was beginning labor.

By the time night fell, it had been six hours and finally Lilly's water broke at around 8pm. This labor was driving the men mad and Evelyn nuts. She couldn't believe the child had not birthed yet. She was beginning to think the child knew it would be thrown away.

As the grandfather clock stuck midnight, a childs scream was heard. As the next generation of Potter's had entered the world. Evelyn went about cleaning the child and Lilly before anything else.

Harold had heard the chime of the clock and the childs screams. He knew the child would be powerful. For if a child is born at the stoke of midnight, it was said to be blessed by the Kami.

Eveyln merged around thirty minutes later with a child in her arms. Telling James to go to Lilly since she was only resting. When he was gone she rounded on her husband. " You know what this means Harold?"
At her husbands nod she placed the child in his arms. " Here's your granddaughter, I hope we don't regret this." she stated turning on her heals walking away not bothering to look back. For if she did, she'd have seen a single tear run down her husband's cheek.

{AUGUST 1,1973}

Sister Mary opened the door at St. Mary's Orphanage to a sight of an infant laying inside a wicker basket with a small note. Bringing the child inside she headed for her office to fill in the paperwork on yet another orphan. The little girl had pitch black hair and the most beautiful emerald eyes. The little one was born just the night before and the note said the childs name was Angel. This was the worst part of the job. Mary just hoped the child would find a home soon.

Lord Potter walked into the dining hall at half 7 in the morning and stopped in his tracks at his wife looking as though she had been crying.'She probably had' he thought as he brought her into a strond embrace.

" Is it done?" whispered Evelyn leaning into her husband.

" Yes " Harold replied emotionlessly. He couldn't help but think they had made a mistake now that it was done.

The rest of the summer went quickly as well as quietly. The four never spoke of what happened, they all hoped for the best. But Harold felt cold after words, and try as he might he couldn't bring himself to tell his wife the child's name.
