A/N: Draco, Harry, and Cain all got jobs at Hogwarts after the war and Harry’s and Cain’s recovery. Draco as Potions Master, Harry as Defense Against The Dark Arts professor, and Cain as Charms professor…

“I wanna go home, Draco”
Part two…
Nine months later, Harry was sitting by the lake watching the sunset and thinking how lucky he was. Draco was still in love with him, and thanks to a potion, they were days away from having a baby. He heard footsteps on the grass and held his hand out for Draco to grasp.
WHEN I WOKE UP THIS MORNING
WIPED THE SLEEP FROM MY EYES
“You know, I really do love it here, Draco. And I love you.” Harry said, looking up into his husbands’ eyes.
“I love you more.” Draco said with a smile.
I FOUND A NEW DAY DAWNING
AND SUDDENLY I REALIZE, YOU’RE GONE
The next afternoon found Harry, Draco, and Cain in Draco’s private laboratory. Harry sat in the corner grading papers while Draco and Cain worked on a new potion.
TELL ME I WAS DREAMING
THAT YOU DIDN’T LEAVE ME HERE TO CRY
YOU DIDN’T SAY YOU DON’T LOVE ME ANYMORE
IT WAS JUST MY IMAGINATION TELLING LIES
TELL ME THAT YOU DIDN’T SAY GOODBYE
They were laughing when Draco asked Cain to get an ingredient from his stores, Harry shaking his head at how well the two got along.
I’M IN A STATE OF CONFUSION
I HOPE THINGS AREN’T WHAT THEY SEEM
IF THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING
JUST LET ME GO BACK TO DREAM, YOU’RE HOME
All of a sudden there was a bang, and the room was filled with purple smoke. Harry didn’t have to hear Draco’s body hit the floor to know he was in trouble, he could feel it in his heart.
“Draco!” Harry called out, trying to maneuver his wheelchair around the desk so he could get to his husband.
TELL ME I WAS DREAMING
THAT YOU DIDN’T LEAVE ME HERE TO CRY
YOU DIDN’T SAY YOU DON’T LOVE ME ANYMORE
IT WAS JUST MY IMAGINATION TELLING LIES
TELL ME THAT YOU DIDN’T SAY GOODBYE
Cain heard the explosion, and Harry’s subsequent shout, and rushed back into the room to find Harry on the ground clutching at Draco and mumbling ‘Please God’ over and over again.
Cain used the Patronus Charm to send word to Madam Pomfrey, then he used the Wingardium Leviosa Charm to lift Draco’s still body into the air for transport, and last, he helped Harry back into his chair before they headed off.
Madam Pomfrey was waiting for them at the door, and as soon as she saw Draco she spoke up,
“Straight to St. Mungo’s.”
She went to the fireplace and called for the hospital, sending Draco and Cain first, and following with Harry second.
The three of them had been sitting in the waiting room for hours when the mediwizard finally came out.

“What about Draco?” Harry asked, knowing the answer already.
“We lost him, Harry, I‘m sorry.”

“Thought I might find you here. How‘s my boy?”
“Look at him, Cain, he’s perfect.”
“Hey little one, you taking care of your old man?”
“Oh yeah. Yeah, we’re gonna be just fine. Right, Draco?”
