The Beginning
Summary: The Potters had twins: Harry James Potter and Violet Lillian Potter. After the attack on Godric's Hollow they are sent to their relatives were the abuse is so severe one of them dies, but which one? No one can be sure because they both are metamorphmagus.
Who is the child of prophesy? What will happen to the remaining child when they find out about the manipulations of the old headmaster?

A/N: This will be my first time writing a story, I have no idea if I will continue for long but I read this story in fanfiction.net named In Plain Sight by melissophobia and it just popped up. I really thought it had potential…. We will see, won't we?
In this Fic metamorphmagus can change not only their coloring and facial features, they are able to change their gender as well.

The Potters were surprised. No one had expected Lily to be caring twins, but never the less, the family and friends were happy, well, all but one.
Albus Dumbledore had not predictable that the Potters will have twins, and Albus Dumbledore was not a man to enjoy being surprised; he much preferred to be the one to surprise others.
It didn’t help that not long ago he had put into action a plan to ensure the end of the current war against the dark lord Voldemort, an end that will ensure the victory of the Light and bring him more prestige and admiration from the Wizarding World.
He had to plan, but fore now he will make sure the Dark Lord will attacked the Potters. Maybe that will solve his problems, after all, the child of the prophecy will surely be the only one to survive Toms' assault and if he doesn't, well, the dead can't complain if a little mistake in recognition is made. A Boy Hero had a much nicer ring to it then a Girl Hero, but that was just his personal opinion in the mater.

It was Halloween when Lily and James Potter found out just how special little Harry and Violet* really were. In the morning of 31st of October Lily walked into the nursery only to find that somehow her two children managed to switch their cloths with one another. At first the exited parents thought it was a very early manifestation of accidental magic but the moment they were about to change them back to their own garments they watched in astonishment as the babes change before their very eyes. One moment Lily was holding Harry and the next she had a squirming Violet in hand.
After some intense research in the library, Lily and James found their answer. It seams that the twins were metamorphmagus, and strong ones at that for their ability to change their sex. The Potters decided to keep the news a secret in order to protect their babes.
That night Voldemort attacked Godric's Hollow, killing Lily and James with the killing curse but when he turned to use that same curse on the twins something happened. No one knows exactly how it happened or which of the twins was responsible for the event that followed, but the fact is that something did occur and the Dark Lords' curse some how rebounded back at him, throwing him out of his body. Many believe that in that day the Dark Lord was defeated, but some, like Severus Snape and Albus Dumbledore knew that it was just a mater of time before the Dark Lord Voldemort will find his way back to the world.
