No Where To Go
She knew that life wasn't the way that it should have been. Nothing was the way she thought it would be. Ron wasn't her husband. ROn wasn't even alive. Harry had drawn away from everyone and hid because of the pain. Now she had no one. Weasleys wouldn't even look at her if she passed them on the street. They blamed her for something that she wasn't even there to stop. How could it have gone so wrong?
Now here she was going back to the one place she thought she wouldn't have to see again. The one place where she lost the one she loved with all her heart. Hogwarts loomed in front of her like a dark shadow over the bright sun. SO much death in a place that should hold nothing but peace.Dumbledore was still there even after everything they all found out that he wasn't dead. Just had to pretend was what he had told them. Serevus was now the DADA Professor and she would be taking over his Potions class. She knew that there were many teachers that had dies in the final battle that shouldn't have and it cut her to know that she wouldn't see their smiling faces anymore.
"Ah, Miss Granger I see that you are always on time." Dumbeldore said from the gates as she walked towards them.
"You didn't have to meet me at the gates Professor. I am sure that I would remember the way to our office." She said with a soft smile.
"I know but as it is a beautiful day no one is too old to go for a walk in the warm sun. Now come and walk with me for a moment." He said as he opened one of the gates to allow her to enter.
She walked in and felt something that hse hadn't since before the final battle. She felt like she was coming home for the first time in five years. As the walked around the grounds of the school she thought about all the times they would sneak out just to break the rules that at one time she had loved so much. How they learned from eachother when no one was allowed to teach them what they needed to know. A faint smiled graced her lips as they walked silently side by side.
"Miss Granger have you heard from Mr. Potter?" Dumbledore asked her.
"No I haven't heard from him in three years. The last time I ran into him he was drunk at 8am. He tried to bed me sir. I love him but he needs help. But he won't allow anyone to give him the help that he needs. He has lost so many that he cared for it's a wonder that he was able to live through it all." She said to him.
"Yes I agree with you Miss Granger. I just wish that someone knew where he was at. Deatheaters are still out there and they are still looking for him." He told her.
"He knows and he wants them to find them so he can do to them what they have done to him. HE wants to ruin their lives." She said sadly.
