Limes? What limes?

Millicent walked into her common room, her head down, looking through papers. Silence welcomed her. How odd, the common room was always filled with some sort of sound. She raised her head. The occupants had their eyes on her. Every single person in the common room was looking at her. She swallowed nervously and looked behind her to make sure that it was not something else that held their attention. There was nothing else behind her.

She turned back and there were no longer any blank stares. Some had disgusted glares. Others had smirks on their faces. Now that she thinks about it, it is the males that seem to be smirking intently at her.

“Good evening.” Millicent says and quickly continues to her room. Unfortunately Draco Malfoy’s body stops her.

“My, my Milli. I had no idea you were this passionate.” He quirks, a smug smile gracing his oh so perfect features. Someone really needed to punch that boy in the face…hard …and multiple times, preferably. She looks at him confused. His smile only broadens.

He holds something in front of her face. It is too close and she cannot really see it. She yanks it out of his hands. She gets a good look at it. And sees…. Her face, gasping. Her cheeks flushed and her eyes half closed. Luna is attentively sucking on her breast. And Millicent is pulling her further towards it.

Millicent gasps. What? Who?…How could this have happened?! They were always so careful. Shocked, she glances at the rest of the occupants. And many are holding the same picture in their hands, heat in almost every single stare. She gives the picture in her hand a last glance and sprints out the door.

“Have you seen this?” Millicent is frantic and very very unhappy. She waves the offending piece of paper in front of Luna’s face.

“What?” Luna asks in her ever present calm. Tired, Millicent shoves the paper into her face. Luna looks at it… And proceeds to turn a palest shade of green.

“Huh.” Is Luna’s intelligent response to the paper.

“I’m going to kill whomever took this picture. “ Millicent whispers through clenched teeth.

“That wouldn’t be very nice.” Luna remarks gently. Millicent looks at her in awe.

“What?! This is the best thing you can come up with?! ‘That wouldn’t be fucking nice’?! Do you know see the severity in this situation?! This could…this could…” Millicent stops. She ponders.

“Luna, what could this do?” She wonders out loud.

“Nothing. It’s not like either one of us has any sort of reputations to protect.” Luna finally answers.

“And look at the bright side.” Millicent gives her a quizzical look. Luna returns it with a bright smile. “We don’t have to hide out relationship anymore.”

Millicent sighs loudly and hangs her head. Well there was always that.

When they enter the great hall, they do so holding each other’s hand. Everyone is looking at them. The stares follow them as Millicent leads Luna to the Slytherin table. They sit at Millicent’s usual place.

Millicent listens as Luna talks about some new creature her father had found and was researching for their magazine. She is really interested. She does not pretend to listen like some of her other friends. She listens with full concentration on Luna and what she has to say. Millicent is actually listening and Luna loves her a little more for it.

Someone clears their throat to Millicent’s left. She turns her head and sees the smug face of Draco Malfoy. Why, I ask, Why has no one punched the little bastard in the face yet?

“I just want to thank you for you great contribution to the album.” He says leaning over, obviously leering at Millicent.

“What album?” Millicent asks narrowing her eyes. He smirks at her and slides over a nondescript book. Millicent opens it and the first picture she sees is her and Luna kissing passionately. The next is of their hands on each other’s chests. The next is of them slowly taking off each other’s tops.

Millicent sighs and closes the book with a huff. She turns to Luna and cocks her head.

“What do you think?” She asks. Luna looks at her once, glances at the book, and Draco then goes back to Millicent.

“We know nothing.” Luna finally concludes. They have no idea of who could have taken the pictures, or who would have purposefully done this. They know precisely nothing, but that it is definitely them in those pictures.
“Well. Enjoy.” Millicent finally says to Draco and goes back to her food and Luna. Draco looks a little perplexed at first, even disappointed, but quickly tries to save face by going back to his little group, acting like the whole exchange never happened, his face blank, but jaw clenching.

Millicent continues the meal, not paying any attention to the whispers and stares directed at their direction. When the headmaster asks them to come to his office to discusses a few issues, they know that are going to be expelled.

They leave their dinner early and go to the office. The spiral staircase is fun for the 10 seconds it lasts. They enter the office expecting a lecture and the boot. But no. The headmaster apologizes that their personal lives were put on display in such an unfashionable way. He promises them that he would find the culprit and confiscate all the pictures. They thank him and leave the office.

They become accustomed to the stares and whispers, and especially the heated glances. It gets them off on quite a few nights. The pictures are takes away, but quite a few still remain, giving quite a few good boys and girls nice dreams at night.

They no longer care that some people have those idiotic pictures. They no longer care when they see some random boy with his hand down his pants looking at them. They no longer mind when their boyfriends still ask for penance for them cheating. But really, they weren’t cheating, they were just experimenting.

“Why did you do it?” he asks Millicent the same question for the hundredth time. She turns in bed to look at him.

“You told me you were the uncertain one. That you didn’t know what you wanted.” She explains running her fingers up and down his back.

“You didn’t have to go fuck some girl though.” He whines and buries his face in the pillow and her hair. He inhales sharply, loving the way her scent settles in his nose.

“You and I were done. And didn’t I help you realize what you wanted?” She asks close to his ear while running her through his silky hair. She smirks when he raises his head and gives her a sharp glare. But it is soon replaced with a smile.

“I suppose. It’s not like she was a threat. No one can compare to me.” He boasts, his gray eyes laughing.

Someone really needed to punch that smugness of his pretty face, Millicent thought as she captures his lips with her own. .

Luna walks down the hall whistling. Today was really quite a good day.
The sun was bright, and just a few big, fluffy clouds were in the sky. A bit unusual, but still welcome.

She continues walking, giving a skip here and there. She muses about her father and the magazine, and…everything that there was to think about.

She admires the pretty white dress she wore. She stops in front of a big mahogany door.

“Luna, Luna! Where have you been? It’s time to start!” Her father shouts franticly, taking hold of her arm.

“I just took a walk Daddy.” Luna answers.

“Well now it’s time to go. Now give me your arm and just do it as we practiced. Alright?” Mr. Lovegood asks a little anxiously.

“Fine.” Luna says smiling. How silly of her father to worry about something like this. It was just a walk.

“Good.” Mr. Lovegood says putting on a big smile. Music begins to play behind the doors and Luna grasps her father’s arm. Perhaps in wasn’t just a walk. This makes her nervous. What if she trips or she gets stuck to the floor, or…

The big doors open and Luna sees Millicent at the end of the isle, a lovely black dress draping over her swollen belly. Millicent gives her a quick wink and smile. Luna smiles back and looks forward to the man awaiting her at the end of the isle.

No, this certainly wasn’t just some silly walk.

Note from Author.

I was listening to Smooth and I just felt the urge to write this chapter. A little flimsy, I know. But I kind of like it. The first and only one I’ve even finished.
