The Face in the Window
A slim, pale finger traced a familiar pattern into the fog on the window. A sigh as he turned away from the smiling face he'd etched.
It was getting much too close to morning for his taste; when he'd have to get dressed in perfect clothes, have his hair fall in that perfect way.
Another sigh. "Maybe I should just try to get some sleep, yeah?" He asked the face in the window.
He smiled tenderly when he wiped the face away, as he turned to go to bed.
'Another dawn, another day,' he thought to himself, pushing a pale blond lock of hair out of his face as he waited for sleep to take him.
He dreamt of the face in the window.
Oh, how he dreamed.
Little did he know, the face dreamt back.
