Winter
Winter: Introduction
Snow started to fall outside. The winter chill crept through the thin glass of the window filling small stone room. People were steadily filling the courtyard outside, basking in the shower of drifting ice. The grey sky was filled by greyer clouds. The weak sun powerless to light the world. Small lights on the walls cast an ethereal glow onto the scene. People ran wildly outside, throwing and building the snow. The snowfall became heavier, obscuring the scene. The world turned white after only a few minutes. Mist formed on the glass and the scene was completely blanked out. No one had seen the one watching from the window.
The watcher was found the next day. Dead by his own hand. No one knew why, no one could have known the story of that year…
