Tearmann
In darkness alone they stood neither daring to speak as the mist from the moors swirled around them. The first standing tall and proud with an unassuming visage of strength and knowledge, blue eyes gleaming wickedly in the night. The second, while not as tall stood with perhaps a touch more humility tempered by even more knowledge, his emerald eyes appearing to dance with hidden mirth, as the moonlight reflected.
The mist which normally presents a rather frightening front sinuously twines itself around them, gracefully tugging here and there like a mother welcoming her errant children home.
The silence of the moors broken by a soft "It is done." With those three words as if a spell was lifted a dramatic change swept across the moor. Hundreds of questioning eyes appear and with a subtle nod from the two, the sadness, the worry and the lingering pain that were lurking behind the questions seem to vanish only to be replaced with a joy that only freedom can bring.
A/N: Yes it's short it was just a little plot bunny that wouldn't leave me alone, I might continue it I might not, depends what everyone thinks of it.
