when angels supposedly fall

No one had seen himm since the last school year or heard of him except the non-informative letter of 'i am fine' every three days. The order's spies didn't see him come out of the house unless it was for the gardening he was forced to do. He looked fine, a bit angry but fine all the same. As long as he was safe that all that mattered, his teenage anguish could wait for another time and place.

No one had seen him at the platform or on the train either which was defintly a cause for concern, more increasingly so when he didn't turn up for the beginning of the year feast.

The Gryffindor's were looking worried as well as the Ravenclaw's and Hufflepuff's; even a few of the Slytherin's were looking uneasy even thought they tried to cover it up. After all he was the one who was supposed to save everyone, even them!

It would have been amusing to everyone to see all of their professor's feather ruffled so to speak, but given the circumstances it put them even more on edge. Panic was gripping most of the students and professors in the hall. the sorting went on with no one taking much notice instead the whispering conversations were being held everywhere.

Only two people in the entire hall looked at ease and that would be the headmaster and a certain black haired professor. Although the Potion's Master was anything but calm on the inside but he had trust in the Headmaster and if he wasn't causing a fuss then there was nothing wrong, at least that what he hoped for. Couldn't have the golden boy disappear on them now could they?

Soon enough the sorting was finished and the feast was truly beginning, the first years joinging in on the conversation on the speculation of the missing Boy-Who-Lived.

Watching over the students, Severus Snape's thought back to thge topic of everyone conversation. Harry Potter. The Golden Boy. The Boy-Who-Lived.

'What was so special about the brat anyway?' he scowled and poked his salmon before he caught the scent of something that he would never ever smell again.

His mouth watered at the thought of what this could be...what this is...

He looked at the Headmaster and saw the man's eyes twinkle in that annoying 'I know everything' way. he contained his growl, what he would do to gorge them eyes out with a blunt spoon (A/N ^.^ lol).
He slipped out of the Hall unnoticed by other's and followed the lush scent to it's destination.
