A Matter of Perspective
Prologue
“You have been charged by this court, on one account of arson and two accounts of manslaughter… guilty. Your sentence is death. By Tell.*” The sound of a pair of bows being drawn grated through the silence of the graveyard.
A young boy stood, quivering, in front of a half-dug grave, eyes wide as he struggled futilely against his bonds.
“Stop struggling, Henry,” came the soft reprimand from the pudgy boy next to him as a perfect red apple was placed upon his head, “it just makes it hurt more.”
This did nothing to placate the boy’s fright as he began squirming even more. The pudgy boy stepped back and dropped the arm he had been holding over his head, as if chopping the air in half. Henry ‘s eyes rolled to the back of his skull as he fainted backwards into the grave, two arrows buried in the apple lying next to him.
Three sets of eyes peered over the edge of the grave at the boy lying there.
“Pity, that,” on child murmured.
“Yeah. And he was so good at playing murder, too,” muttered the pudgy boy.
“Such a waste,” came a third, more feminine voice.
The three remained studying the boy for any signs of wakefulness for minutes before the girl stood and collected her bow, “Come, Pugsley, Desdemon. Mother will be upset if we were to return with him.”
The three children silently trooped into the house, dirtying their hands for dinner as they went.
*William Tell- the guy with apple and the arrow... yeah...hope he had good aim.
A/N Alright, I have never actually published on AFF.N before so you're all going to be kind and not yell in your reviews. (because I depend on reviews) This fic is going to depend on everyone's input. I am simply too busy at the moment to write an entire chapter by myself. So in your reviews tell me what you want to see happen (keep in mind, this WILL be SSHP and nothing will change that). I want this to be good so help me out! I'll try to update regularly but school's going to get crazy soon so I can't promise anything.
