What we wanted

Books 6 and 7 never happened (mainly because they both annoyed me) and everything is back in the fifth year! Oh what fun!

Chapter 1

Harry Potter sat in a cold dark room. A room made for him. A room made by the room or requirements.

This room he called hit thinking room. Whenever he needed to think this was the room he would go to, and the best part was that as long as he was here no one could disturb him like they would in any other part of the castle.

As he did the other times he came to this room, he just lay there, looking up at the ceiling. The ceiling was designed like the grate halls. It was nice to him, he enjoyed seeing the night sky.

Tonight the sky was clear. The odd cloud passed by now and then, but now he was looking at the stars. Nights like these were Harry's favorite. They were the most relaxing thinking nights.

A sigh escaped Harry's lips. He liked his time alone. He never got it often, his friends seemed to believe that being together all the time was the best thing for him.

But he had grown up alone.

Harry sometimes absolutely needed his alone time. Too many times he had become frustrated with his friends and not known how to handle it. Because he never had friends as a child he never learned to deal with certain situations.

But Harry's friends would often try to explain that he needed to be around them to learn how to deal with the stress of people. That would often make him more angry.

This was what harry often thought about, and when he wasn't thinking about dealing with his friends he was thinking about his secret crush of the last year.

Ron Weasley.

Ron was the one person he couldn't get annoyed with. He was often rude, but that's what happens when your the youngest boy in a family of 6 children. 5 siblings could be tough sometimes!

He was tall, slender, funny. He was everything Harry dreamed about. Harry smiled at the thought of him.

At that point he decided it was time to leave. He got off the floor then stretched. It was probably well past curfew, and tonight he really didn't feel like getting a late night detention. He left the room.

Harry had just turned the first corner on his way to Gryffindor tower when he froze. Standing in front of him was Snape. A tall man with black hair and eyes. He was also the most hatted professor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This was the man who had made his whole wizard school life hell. The man who constantly gave him detention, who singled him out for his own amusement.

But this time he was just staring at Harry. No biting comment, no insult. He was just starring with the oddest expression on his dark features. One Harry had never seen before. One he didn't even know his professor could make.

"Sir?" Harry whispered.

Snape continued to stare.

"Sir, are you alright?" He tried again.

Snape seemed to come back to his senses then.

"Where should you be?" He growled out. Still Snape wasn't right, wasn't the same Snape he hatted.

"Bed sir."

"And your not there because?"

What was wrong with this man, why was he not angry!

"I was on my way sir."

"Then go," Snape said, "and don't let me catch you out this late again."

Harry nodded and ran around his professor in the direction of the dorms.

So this is my first story ever posted... I'm a little scared.. It's also been a long time since I've read book five and below, so if I really screw thing up you can just virtually slap me! ^_^
Might be a good idea to let you all know that I fail at English... And I mean I really fail.
Anyway, I love to have some tips on how to not fail at writing!

Cheerio!
