I Only Live For You
You know how my story ends.
You know how, in so many intricate plot points, my story lead me to bleed my life away on the cold and dirty floor.
It wasn’t a surprise ending. I’d seen it all coming, as my character read his lines and played his part, all too well.
I must confess, I did not wish for my life to continue much farther. What role would they have for me, after all was said and done? I had lived my life in a near constant state of pain and violence and hate. Where would I fit in, in a world all but free of such things?
I had lost, one by one, all those who had ever cared for me, and I for them. There was no one left for me to live for, indeed, for so long I was alive but for the memory of a love lost.
Nothing now remains of me but memories.
