Sleep Over
Harry potter was walking back from his final class for the week glad he didn’t have to face another day of early mornings and team speeches. Ever since Harry had become both head boy and quidditch captain he had become very busy and was finding it hard to spend time with his friend. Ron and Hermione did not seem to mind or even notice Harry’s absence as they had begun to date each other over 2 months ago and were taking the next step in there relationship which lead to a lot of time spent in the bed room and away from him. But this weekend was not the case Harry had 3 full days all to himself to do what ever he pleased.
Harry walked around the corner to see Ron’s fiery red head sister yelling at the picture on the back of her dark arts book that would not stop talking back to her. “Would you just shut up I am not Draco Malfoy and I will not be getting marks like him any time soon” Ginny yelled at the book as she dropped it to the ground and let the tears flow down her cheeks. Soon Ginny could not help herself she fell to her knees and began to cry letting all her frustration drain from her body.
Harry could not take seeing her like this he walked to where she sat crying placed his books near hers and knelt down by her side “Gin are you ok” Harry asked he had never really had be that great at the whole comforting thing. “No Harry I’m not I am failing dark arts and Hermione is never around anymore I cant ask her for help and my bloody book will not stop telling me I am going to fail, But what makes it even worse is you were my best friend and I never see you anymore and I miss you” Ginny began to cry harder then she was before.
Over the summer Harry had stayed at the burrow, Ron and Hermione seemed to be building their relationship on a different level so Harry spent a lot of time with Ginny. They had become very close friends and could tell each other everything but when she bought up the topic of boys Harry found his self growing jealous. While staying at the Weasley’s Mr. and Mrs. Weasley had made a potion to rid Harry of his glasses Ginny did not tell Harry but she found him even more attractive with out them on but what Ginny did not realize was the simple things she did drove Harry’s hormones mad.
Harry sat on the ground and pulled Ginny to his chest Ginny placed her head on his shoulder and her arms around his neck she cried while Harry whispered soothing words into her ear calming her until she stopped crying but did not let go of there tied embrace.
“Come on Gin, you can come stay in my room tonight” Harry told Ginny while pulling her to her feet picking up their books and noticing a very sleepy Ginny finding it hard to stand. Harry whispered a spell and his books floated off towards his room. Harry walked to where Ginny stood he picked her up into a cradling position and started down the hall. Ginny began to nod off she placed her head on his shoulder and wrapped her arms around his neck.
“Thank you Harry” Ginny said in a sleepy voice “It’s ok Gin it is not every day I get to carry a beautiful girl to my bed room” Harry said hearing a little giggle leave Ginny’s mouth before she feel to sleep in her knight in shining armors embrace.

Little did they know that while this whole ordeal was doing on professor Dumbledore and professor McGonagall were watching on. “See I told you Albus one day they would fall in love and I think today may be the first of many” professor McGonagall stated while watching the couple walk off. “You always were the one with the good eye” Dumbledore replied with a smile on his face.
