The Choices We Make
Okay this might get confusing so hang in there.
You’re going to start reading from a point at the back of the sixth book. Snape’s just burst into Dumbledore’s office where Draco’s arrived to kill Dumbledore and the other Death Eaters are in the room pressuring him. Harry’s in a full body bind under his invisibility cloak watching the scene unfold.
Also this chapter is short because it’s meant to be.
Well lets get started and if I’ve completely confused you I apologise.
Warnings: AU (the seventh book was great by the way.). M/M, M/M/M, F/F, M/F maybe MPreg (shout if you want it – any pairing by the way)
Pairings: DM/HP (of course), maybe SB/RL, LM/SS/JP, LP/NM
Chapter One
Harry watched from where he was hidden frustrated and angry that he couldn’t do a thing. Damn Dumbledore for this.
Severus had just burst into Dumbledore’s office drawing the attention of Draco and the other Death Eaters.
“Looks like Draco is to pathetic and weak to kill the old man,” Greyback sneered making Draco take a step back, “Looks like it’s down to you.”
Harry watched as Severus first looked at Greyback then Draco then Dumbledore.
“Severus please,” Dumbledore pleaded whether for death or help Harry did not know but seeing the Headmaster like that made Harry want to cry.
Severus lifted his wand and pointed it straight at Dumbledore.
Harry felt fear wash over him and he struggled in his body bind hoping to get free. He thankfully felt himself becoming able to move but he hoped it wasn’t too late.
The commotion downstairs was becoming louder by the second. He could here McGonagall and some of The Order trying to get through.
“You’re taking to long,” Amycus hissed raising his wand, “Avada Kedavra.”
To Harry, everything after that point, was in slow motion.
Seeing what was about to happen, Draco had jumped in front of Dumbledore to take the blast but Severus seeing what Draco was doing jumped in front of them both.
Harry finally felt himself become free. He was not going to let anymore people die on his behalf.
He threw off his cloak and jumped in front of all of them.
Green light was the last thing he saw.
