A.N/ I didnt get my five reviews, which made me sad but I did get one to another of my fics which is good enough. Just so you know, this ISNT! a Snape/Hermionie fic, it seems that way in the first paragraph, but ya.
He stood leaning against the bar, whiskey in hand getting more annoyed with each passing moment. He felt as thought he’d been waiting since she’d left. She had disappeared off into the horizon with Harry on the night of their graduation. He touched his arm where just days ago the dark mark burned, it was completely healed.
“Hello sir.” The voice startled them out of his thoughts. He hadn’t even sensed her presence until she was standing right in front of him.
“Hello Miss. Granger. To what do I owe the unfortunate pleasure of this meeting?”
“It’s not Granger, it hasn’t been since the moment I was born. And this unfortunate pleasure is due to the fact that I need a favor.” He scoffed at this, rolling his eyes.
“Well why should I do a favor for you? What is it that you have to offer to me in return for this favor?” She stepped forward quickly and jammed his sleeve up and looked him in the eyes before replying,
“Freedom.”
He took a moment to study her, taking in all of her. She had lost a lot of weight, her hair that was normally frizzy looked unkempt, and she looked as though she hadn’t slept in days, dark smears under his eyes and yet somehow, to him, she still looked beautiful. Somehow it felt like he could see beneath her skin.
“What do you need?” he asked, expecting the worst.
“I need you to bring me to Malfoy Manor.”
“You can get there yourself.” This was the last thing that he needed.
“Severus, you know very well,” she put her hands on her hips, “that I can’t get through the wards without you or them, and in case you couldn’t sense it I broke my wand.” She said matter-of-factly.
“How did you break your wand?” momentarily distracted.
“Shattered dueling. I had to get to let my channels get very wide to feed the shield. And to be more accurate, I shattered my wand.”
“So the two of you did it?” he said trying to comprehend the situation, and the fact that he was loosing ground.
“You doubted us?”
“So, you want to go to Malfoy Manor. Why?”
“I need time to rest and I suppose that I owe my parents and brother a visit, wouldn’t you agree?” He slammed his glass down on the counter, Damn it Lucius owed him an explanation!
“Lets go.” He walked out of the bar towards the apparation point cape billowing out behind him, turned and waited for her to reach him. Once she did he wrapped his arms around her shoulders.
“Hold tight so you don’t end up splinched.” She didn’t reply, just gripped his waist tighter.
