Harry Potter & The Field of Shadows
Welcome!
First and foremost, this is an Altered Universe fiction, taking place in the SideStory timeline. Also, this fiction takes the place of Half-Blood Prince, therefore, this entire work is non-canon. According this this storyline, books 6 & 7 never occur.
I took it upon myself to write a dark, morbid, completely messed up Harry Potter story. While I enjoy reading other authors works, I never seem to find any dark, gritty, wildly out-there fanfics. There have been a few that came close, but not quite.
This is my warning: Harry is not a nice person in this story. He is a fucked up, slightly crazy person that kills off a number of characters. No, he does not go over to Voldermort's cause, but he does kill off a lot of people, in some very chilling, disturbing ways.
I thought it would be only fair to post this up before you started reading this work of fan fiction, so that you have a chance to decide if you really want to read my butchery of the HP Universe.
