Golden Day
One last golden day, Harry chuckled to himself. Could it get any stranger? Ron and Hermione were tentatively talking to one another, Harry had broken up with Ginny just a few months ago. Ontop of all of this he was living in a house with the said people and multiple others who were chaotically preparing for a wedding joing a part Veela and a part Werewolf. Harry just laughed. What else was he supposed to do. If he stopped moving foward he got depressed and that did not help him do what needed to be done.
Harry needed to destroy the man that took away almost everyone he ever loved. His parents, Sirius, Dumbledore, and now indirectly Ginny. He had to destroy Voldemort.
"Harry....Harry, Mum needs our help" yelled Ron from downstairs. Harry tore himself away from his thoughts and made his way through Ron's Chudley Cannon room and down the winding staircase to the living room.
Ron and Harry were already in their dress robes for the wedding, but Mrs. Weasley swore that they needed more tables outside for guest to eat on. "Watch, we'll get dirty from helping her, then she will have a go at us for mucking up or robes." Harry laughed "yeah on the other hand we are wizards." His words bringing up a memory of Hagrid in a dilapidated shack in the middle of a sea. With a swish and flick of their wrist they said "Wingardium leviosa" and two tables began their shaky journey out the the Burrow to the field that was magnificently transformed.
Where the Weasley's had once played quidditch, there were tables and chairs everywhere. Laterns were suspended mid air with flowers twirling in circles between them. The cloth coverings on the tables shimmered like spun gold and the music that was flowing from the charmed quartet was amazing. "Mum sure know haw to throw a party huh?""Yeah she does" replied Harry. Harry and Ron sat the tables down, Molly was soon beside them waving her wand around frantically. The boys were in awe as the table cloths appeared on the tagles and chairs were conjured out of thin air. " Thank you boys, mind you don't go and get your robes diry." And with that she was off, bustling away and shouting at the other Weasley men to do something.
Harry was still amazed sometimes that he was a wizard. The most significant event so far was his birthday just a few days ago. He was now seventeen, a grown up in the wizarding world, and now a fully qualified wizard. He could do magic whenever he wanted, but the elation that gave was short lived. He no longer had the blood protection from his mother. Once again, he physically shook his head and pushed those thoughts aside. Today was not the day to ponder on that. Today was Bill and Fleur's day. He also wanted to see what Hermione and Ginny looked like, he had nost seen them dressed up since the Yule Ball his fourth year. Ron was chatting about quidditch and paused mid sentence. Harry looked up to see what had made him stop talking and his breath caught in his throat.
