Dudley's contribution
His plan with the Dark Lord’s diary had backfired. Trust that sodding Potter boy to be as meddlesome as his parents!
Lucius Malfoy was not to be crossed; this boy was about to learn that lesson.
At least, that had been the plan. Before he’d sat eyes on this fat, ugly creature the boy had been with.
The intention to kill Potter disappeared like snow before the sun. Determination to fulfil an old fantasy rapidly took its place.
Lucius chuckled; he’d finally be able to play! Gods, he’d been itching to play his game ever since the day the Crabbe and Goyle boys had started to swell!
Oh, having Draco’s friends around was enjoyable. He’d stare at them and fantasize, wonder how much and long it would take. Unfortunately that was all he could do. Entertaining? Certainly. Gratifying? Not in the least.
Now the moment had finally arrived. This creature was a Muggle and could be sacrificed.
Lucius patiently stalked his victim, wasting no time the moment the two boys encountered the Dementors. As Potter was summoning up the strength to produce a proper Patronus he snatched the fat Muggle creature and Apparated back to his manor.
“W-what… “Dudley stood swaying, unable to comprehend what had just happened.
“Please, sit down.” A soothing voice spoke as strong hands escorted Dudley to a chair.
He let himself be seated and while vague sounds filled the air, Dudley slowly but surely came to his senses.
“You! You’re one of t-them!" he squeaked nervously as Lucius came into his field of vision.
“Them?” Lucius frowned. Merlin, this thing was ugly!
“Y-yes! You’re a… “ Dudley’s eyes seemed to almost roll out of their sockets as he desperately tried to disappear in the back of the chair.
“I think the word ‘wizard’ is what you are referring to?” Lucius smiled.
Dudley nodded.
“Ah yes. Yes, I am a wizard.”
Dudley squeaked a second time, too scared to move any further.
“No need for panic.” Lucius leaned against the table across from the chair. “I am a good wizard. Unlike Potter, who is bad. And quite dangerous, really.”
“G-good?”
“Yes. Potter attacked you and I rescued you. You were lying on the ground and looked… ill. I felt sorry for you.”
“Yes, he was attacking me… tried to get me…felt so cold…” Dudley shivered. His bottom lip was beginning to tremble suspiciously.
“The boy will be punished, I can assure you. In the mean time, how about a nice meal to settle your nerves?”
A swish of Lucius’ wand was enough to make Dudley’s mouth
water. On the table in front of him were now more cakes, pies, pancakes, chocolates, fries and ice creams he could ever have wished for.
“For me?” This wizard really did seem nice!
“Everything. Please.” Lucius gestured Dudley to take whatever he wanted.
One moment of disbelief passed but then Dudley grinned and attacked the food. There was no other word for it.
Lucius stepped back, watching the blow-out take place right before his eyes. Managing to suppress a shiver of disgust, he could only stare in disbelief at the way the Muggle was - ‘eating’ was not the word here – shoving it all in.
Clearly Muggles had no knowledge of etiquette, let alone table manners. Savages.
Well, no surprise there, really.
“Oh, I’m full… “Dudley ate an impressive amount of the offered food before he leant back in his chair, giving Lucius a happy smile.
“No, you’re not.” With the fulfilment of his fantasy so close, Lucius lacked the patience to go gently. "Imperio!"
Dudley whimpered as the magic rippled over and through him.
“Eat. Eat everything on that table,” Lucius ordered. “You are so very hungry.”
“Yes. Yes, I want to eat everything!” Dudley grinned, starting all over.
Such a weak mind. Lucius summoned a chair, sat down and waved his wand a second time.
Dudley quickly noticed his body swelling with every bit of food he swallowed. He tried to stop eating, only to discover that he really didn’t want to stop. Eating made him feel so incredibly happy!
“You don’t care what happens to your body. All you want to do is eat. You feel wonderful! Eat!” Lucius crossed his arms, eyeing the boy with amusement.
As Dudley inflated more and more, Lucius lazily produced a Shielding Charm and prepared himself for the ultimate explosion.
The moment Dudley finally did burst, Lucius nearly cancelled the charm. The urge to feel everything was overwhelming. In his fantasies he would place himself in the firing line, countless shreds of flesh, tissues of brain, muscles and nerves as well as bone fragments hitting him from all sides.
The penetrating sickening smell that accompanied the happy event sobered him, though.
Even Lucius Malfoy had limits.
Giving the bloody mess one last look, Lucius left the room, feeling rather pleased with himself. Hopefully the elves had cooked a substantial meal; he’d worked up quite an appetite!
(Yes, I admit. Watched too much Monty Python. Sorry. *g*)
