Harry turned his head, slightly annoyed, as a crumpled piece of parchment hit the back of his head.

He inconspicuously scanned the back of the class. Snape had once again rearranged the usual sitting arrangements, mixing Gryffindors with the Slytherins. Harry had been separated from Ron and Hermione, with whom he always sat. Now he spied Ron at the back of the dungeon sitting next to a black haired Slytherin girl, who looked surly at having been paired up with him. The redhead grinned at Harry, looking both sultry and bored. Harry smiled back until a hand met his scalp with a smack.

“Focus, Potter! No flirting with your boyfriend!”

Harry turned and looked sullenly at their Potions master. The greasy git seemed, as usual, intent on ruining all his fun. Some Slytherins around them smirked but none as much as the person sitting next to Harry. As usual, when Snape deemed it was time to mix and match, Draco Malfoy had once again ended up sitting next to Harry. For that, the messy haired champion of the wizarding world hated Snape even more.

Harry felt like slamming his head against his tabletop, which he actually did. His head dejectedly down, he was again pelted with a well-thrown paper object.

“I bet it says 'I love you Harry, honey!'” the blond Slytherin beside him whispered none too discreetly. Harry rolled his head on its side, glaring at his tormentor. Turning it just a little he cast a look on his red-headed boyfriend. He mouthed 'Cut it out', not returning the smirk anymore. A smile spread on his lips, though, as he saw a tall figure looming behind Ron. Ron's red haired head was smacked in a similar fashion to how Harry’s had been.

Grumpily massaging his head, Ron got back to work.

Harry returned to his own work, a little pleased that his boyfriend had also been reprimanded.

The rest of the class passed miserably slowly.

As the students finally filed out of the dungeon, Ron hurried after Harry.

“Honestly, what does he wish to achieve by mixing us up?” Ron heard Hermione say to Harry as he caught up with them. Harry just shrugged his shoulders. Ron grabbed his hand and spun him around, their lips crashing together when they were face to face.

Harry responded to the kiss hungrily, their tongues entwining and twisting, moans vibrating in their chests. When they pulled back, both were breathless. “Sorry about earlier mate... Just needed to see your face.”

“Don't worry about it, you know how to make up for it...”

“We need to get to lunch,” Hermione's stern voice informed them some minutes later. The two teens broke apart, breathless.

“Bloody hell! We'll be late for Care of Magical Creatures!” Ron breathed, checking his watch.

“Race you to the Great Hall!”Harry yelped, taking a head start. Ron bounded after him in the empty corridor. They were followed by a sighing Hermione.

“They're just hopeless...”
