Deadly Betrayal

Chapter One

Ginny sat in her room, a piece of parchment and a quill on her lap. She played with the quill nervously, biting on the end, trying to think of what to write next.

Ginny Weasley was angry. She was full of angst and hate, which had made her become cold and distant over the months. She needed revenge, and soon.

Ginny hadn't always been such an angry person. She had actually been very sweet and kind once upon a time. She had always been the little girl, the baby of the family. When she'd received her Hogwarts acceptance letter when she'd turned eleven, she had been thrilled. Finally, a chance to be on her own and prove she was more then just a little girl.

But due to the events of first year, she not only managed to nearly be killed, but had also proved everyone right, she was nothing but an innocent, harmless girl who couldn't even take care of herself.

After first year, Ginny's brothers watched her like hawks everytime they were at Hogwarts. She tried her best to prove them wrong, to show to them that she was just as strong and capable as the rest of them.

She'd lost all of her self respect after fourth year. She had been crazy for the famous Harry Potter since she was ten, but did he notice her, not the the slightest. He had his sights set on Cho Chang, the Ravenclaw Quidditch star of Hogwarts. It made her sick the way he looked at her and talked to her. And when the two had gone out for Valentines Day, she'd lost it.

She had decided then and there that it was time to stop dreaming. She focused her sights on someone else, well, anyone else for that matter. She made quite the reputation for herself in the next year. Boys swooned after her, and girls wanted to be her. She was a Quidditch player, had a great body, and rumour had it, she was a fox in the bedroom.

Ginny loved her new status, but it did nothing for her feelings for Harry. And then, fifth year. She and Harry actually hooked up, and began dating. It was the best month of her life. She finally had her dream guy, only to have him taken away from her.

Harry had told her he didn't want to see her get hurt, which enraged her further. She'd fought along side them in the Ministry for Magic, and she'd fought in the battle between the dark and the lights at Hogwarts that year. Her, get hurt? No, she wasn't that weak. She wasn't as weak as anyone thought, but they had no clue what she was capable of.

Over the next month, her anger only grew. Harry came by every Sunday for dinner, he laughed and joked and had fun with her family. He acted as if nothing had happened between them, it made her sick.

She thought for weeks on just how to get back at Harry. Harry Potter, the perfect boy who fucking lived. Everyone loved Harry...everyone except...

Then she'd figured it out, the perfect way to make Harry Potter's life a living Hell. The one person who could destroy him, break him down to nothing, the Dark Lord.

She knew he may not accept her offer to join his forces, sure she was pureblood, but her family were well known blood traitors. There was nothing she could do but try, she had valuable information which could benefit the dark side, she could get deep inside the mind of Harry and tell them his deepest, darkest secrets. She knew the Dark Lord was a smart man, he would have to consider her propostion.

Ginny finished her letter, then read it over in her head, checking to be sure she'd expressed everything clearly.

My Lord,

Recently something has been brought quite abruptly to my attention, and I believe it may interest you greatly. I am a well known close friend of your enemy, Harry Potter. But I wish to be something else. I now see just how wrongly I've been brought up, I now know that this war is one sided. I would like to proposed a proposition for you, I wish for you to take me in as one of your own. I wish to join the proper side as I would be a valuable spy for your side. I request a simple meeting in which we will discuss my desire to join you. I am fully prepared do follow any orders you wish me to fill out, please consider my proposition as I believe I would greatly profit your side, the side which will be victorious in this, the war of wars.

Yours Truly,

Genivive Weasley.

Satisfied with her work, Ginny sealed up the letter, placing a spell she'd recently learned on it, so no one but the Dark Lord would be able to open it. She then left her room, careful to not make any noise. She walked cautiously down the stairs, being sure not to step on the spots which creak.

Once she was in the kitchen, she made her way over to the family's new owl which Harry had insisted on buying. She prodded the bird awake, who cooed sleepily. She shoved the letter into its beak, focing it to take it.

"Now, don't you dare return until this letter has been personally delivered." She warned, receiving an annoyed hoot in response. The bird shook itself awake, then took off out the open window.

Ginny watched the bird fly into the night, an evil smile playing at her face. Now all she had to do was wait for a response.

To Be Continued...

Short, I know, but I thought this would be a nice place to leave off. Hopefully I'll be able to update again tonight, but it would be nice to get a review or two before that. Please let me know what you think of this story, I'd really appreciate it.

Much Love...
