Disclaimer:
I do not own Harry Potter, nor any of the characters from the books or movies. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Blood Feud: Underworld
This isn't going to be a simple switch characters around story (i.e. all Harry Potter characters are in this)
In fact, is more of a cross-over, although I hate to think of it like that.
Basically, I'm combining the two stories in a way that is very plausable. I'm sure some of you will have doubts on how I can tie Hermione into a Selene like character, but trust me, I shall do my best in that.
Also, This story is mainly Non HB compliant, the only elements I'm keeping are the Horcruxes, but not the Death or Draco's involvement.
I would post the character list now, but I want it to be a suprise! However, once all Harry Potter characters are introduced, I will post the complete character list.
One last thing before the story starts: This chapter is the only one I've written. Usually I wait until I've completed a story before posting, but I know that I wont slack off on this story, espeically since this chapter came very easily to me.
So without further adeu, I give you the first chapter in Blood Feud: Underworld
Enjoy, and please review, if you can!

Chapter One - Blood Feud
--------------------------------------------------------
Harsh, cold rain pelted on the rooftops of London, England while a fierce wind howled along the streets, giving all the passer byes a taste of the winter to come. Person after person walked the streets, holding their coats and jackets close to them, unaware of the predators above them. A hideous stone animal, more commonly known as a gargoyle, was perched atop a five story building, ominously looming over the citizens of London.
Crouching next to it, a figure clad in black watched the streets in anticipation for her prey. From the ground below she only seemed a shadow, yet up close one could see her real form: A very beautiful woman, clad in black leather and a cloak with long curly chestnut locks and alabaster skin. Ignoring both the vicious storm, and the precarious position she was in, she waited silently. Her eyes, a striking cinnamon color, scanned over the crowds of people bustling on the street below them, reminding her all too much of cattle.
No matter how long I pretended to be one of them, I could never get over their animalistic behavior, albeit much more dignified than the lycan.
Could it truly be that our war is coming to an end, much as the second great wizarding war?
Regardless of her anticipation of the hunt, and the anxieties within her, the young woman’s face did not change from one of stone cold concentration.
I still surprise myself in that I kept close contact with a lycan for nearly seven years; that blasted Lupin. I wish I had been given the chance to dispose of him the way I wanted, the way I was meant to.
Letting a slight sigh escape her lips, the woman’s thoughts flash backed to the centuries before her.
The war had all but ground to a halt in the blink of an eye. Lucian, the most feared and ruthless leader ever to rule the lycan clan, had finally been killed. The lycan horde scattered to the wind in a single evening of flame and retribution. Victory, it seemed, was in our grasp, the very birthright of the vampires.
Nearly six centuries had passed since that night, yet the ancient blood feud proved unwilling to follow Lucian to the grave. Though lycans were fewer in number, the war itself had become more perilous, for the moon no longer held her sway. Older, more powerful lycans were now able to change at will. The weapons evolved, but our orders remained the same.
Hunt them down and kill them off, one by one.
Taking a chance, Hermione turned her head away from the ground to glance at her partner, some 20 meters away. His eyes were downcast, staring intently on the humans below them, also looking for their prey.
Feeling Hermione’s gaze upon him, Nathaniel looked up and nodded at her. Tearing her eyes away from him, Hermione looked back upon the ground, once again for her prey.
A most successful campaign. Perhaps too successful. For those like me, a Death Dealer, this signaled the end of an era. Like the weapons of a previous century, we too would become obsolete.
A small smile touched her lips as water ran down the side of her face.
Pity, because I live for it.
Frustration began to dwell inside of Hermione. Glancing at the large clock across the square, Hermione noted that it was nearly 9:00 PM. Her other teammate, a Death Dealer as well, was crouching in the shadows of the gigantic clock, waiting just as dilligently for the prey. According to her information, the lycans should have arrived already. Then, as if hearing her desperate plea, Hermione spied her targets out of the corner of her eye. There was no mistaking the two lycanthropes from the humans around them. Although in their human form, there was no mistaking the two filthy animals parading around as men. Choosing not to use umbrellas, regardless of the harsh weather, the two brutes pushed roughly through the slow moving crowd, as if with a purpose.
An angry hiss escaped Hermione’s lips as she watched the barbaric immortals. Centuries-old rage filled the woman as she watched them.
Adjusting her position, Hermione recognized the two Lycans from the intel only a few hours prior. The larger one with the shaved head was known as Raze, and was vaguely familiar to Hermione. Back home, a large number of the analysts believed that this lycan was the alpha-male of the European pack, yet others believed that another lycan, so far unknown, outranked him. Yet none of this mattered to Hermione, only the fight ahead of her, and the desire to feel the satisfaction when filling a Lycan full of silver. Glancing at Raze’s companion, Hermione noted that it was indeed Trix, a small rat-like man.
Tired of staring at the animals, Hermione glanced ahead of them in order to predict where they were heading. What she saw shocked her. Regardless of the hood over his head, Hermione instantly noticed the white blonde hair. At first Hermione thought that she was mistaken, there are many men in the world with the same hair color. Yet, after further inspection, she realized that her first assumption was correct.
Why in the world is Draco Malfoy here, in muggle London?
Never mind that!
Appalled that she let that despicable, wanna-be Death Eater distract her from her mission, Hermione scolded herself, and looked back at Fenrir and Trix. Wanting to make sure her fellow Death Dealers had spotted the prey, Hermione glanced first at Nathaniel, and then at Rigel, who was diligently taking photos of the Lycans.
Knowing that the time to leave their current location was looming close, Hermione began to prep herself. Feeling underneath cloak, she noted that her twin automatic pistols with extra ammunition were exactly where they needed to be. Looking back down, Hermione saw that the lycans were nearly out of sight.
Without a moment’s hesitation Hermione stood up and confidently stepped off the ledge.
If any human had actually noticed this, they would have been terrified to see this beautiful woman jump off a five story building to the cement below. However, they would have been equally terrified to see her land nimbly upon the ground and briskly walk away.
Taking note of Hermione, both Nathaniel and Rigel left their posts, landing just as smoothly on the ground before taking off after the lycans.
Falling behind, the Death Dealers blended in well with the crowd, expertly stalking their prey. Neither lycan had noted the Death Dealers presence behind them, and Hermione thanked the elders for that.
Hermione watched as Fenrir cautiously looked at his surroundings, before descending down the steps before him, leading into the Metro. This did not concern Hermione much, for she figured that the Lycans were going to the Underground, back to their home.
Descending down the stairs, Hermione and Rigel did their best to conceal themselves from the Lycans. Nathaniel stayed at the entrance of the Metro to keep watch in case another lycan decided to suprise them.
Doing her best to keep watch of the targets and hide, Hermione noticed that she was standing a mere few feet from the man she had spied earlier; Draco Malfoy.
Slight panic shook Hermione when the man turned her way. Praying to the Elders that he would not recognize her, Hermione turned her head away from him before walking away. However, the damage already seemed to be done. In the brief moment that their eyes met, it seemed that Draco regarded her presence with a mix of curiosity and horror. Knowing that her real appearance wasn’t completely different from the one she had during her time at Hogwarts, worry began to swarm over Hermione.
However, that didn’t last very long. Unbeknownst to Hermione, the lycan Fenrir began to furiously look around his surroundings, having caught one of the Death Dealer’s scents. Rigel, seeing this, did his best to conceal himself from the animal, but it was too late.
Rage seemed to boil in the Lycan, and while reaching into his coat, the sound of the incoming metro train was drowned out by the vicious lycan's call.
