Severus Saves The Day

Remus Lupin sat in the library pouring over a great volume and scribbling furiously in a notebook with his fine eagle quill. His brow was furrowed and he chewed on the end of a thumbnail. It was late and he was alone in the library; Remus had always treasured these peaceful times for with the company he kept they were often few and far between. Of course he loved his friends Sirius, James, and Peter but their high-jinx sometimes unnerved him. They were fun to be around...most of the time. Remus simply hated when they bullied around a particular greasy-haired student. But right now he was worried sick and these thoughts were in the back of his mind. The title of the book read The Male Pregnancy.

Severus Snape was not exactly Remus’s favorite person but he was still a human being and deserved in his mind to be treated as such. He had never really had a conversation with Severus other than the minimal talk while working together in potions or some other class they had together. Severus never showed any clear distain for Remus but he had never shown any genuine liking either. Remus thought often about what went through that brilliant head of his. Secretly although he would never tell his friends Remus harbored a strange fascination with Snape that could have been interpreted as desire.

Remus knew that he was different than other boys. Of course he was different because he was a werewolf but this was another type of different. Remus had stopped trying to play along with the other boys at crushing on girls; the fact was Remus held a taste for the same sex. All three of his closest friends now knew that he was gay. This didn’t seem to bother Sirius and James one bit but Peter had to say ignorantly “So you’d let another guy fuck you up the ass?” Remus snorted with laughter at this and the laughter of James and Sirius followed. Sirius...Sirius and his relationship had become very intimate recently. It was all on account of Remus announcing that he was queer.

Sirius was beautiful there was no doubt about that. Remus often described Sirius when writing in his diary as “drop dead gorgeous.” Sirius was raven-haired with lovely blue-gray eyes and a charming smile which always made Remus’s heart melt. No matter how angry Remus would be at Sirius when Sirius would smile at him the anger would be washed away as if it was never there at all. What made it worse was the fact that Sirius was also intelligent, funny, and witty along with his good looks. Remus was head over heels in love with Sirius and it turned out that Sirius shared the same appetite for boys as he.

Of course Remus himself was not so hard on the eyes either. Remus sported long hair like Sirius but unlike Sirius’s his was thin and blond. Remus had honey colored eyes, was pale, and had a very lean frame. He was very feminine in appearance. And his manner suggested that Peter was right about him being on the receiving end during sex. Remus had been a virgin until about a month ago. As it turns out Sirius had thought Remus beautiful also. And on this night about a month ago Remus lost his virginity to Sirius.

FLASHBACK

Remus sat in a red high backed chair in the Gryffindor common room reading. It was about 12:00 AM and he was just getting ready to call it a night and go up to the dorm when Sirius came quietly through the portrait hole carrying a bag. When Remus looked up in surprise Sirius put his finger to his lips. Sirius came over and emptied the contents of the bag on the table beside the chair Remus was sitting in. The bag contained two bottles of merlot. Remus was about to cry out in outrage; after all he was a school prefect. Alcohol was definitely not allowed. Before Remus could utter one sound of indignation, Sirius kissed Remus passionately on the lips. Remus gasped and Sirius pulled back smiling. He uncorked one bottle of merlot and conjoured crystal glasses from somewhere. He offered the wine to Remus and Remus being the prefect shook his head. But then Sirius smiled and Remus took the glass. Sirius downed his and said “Aren’t you going to drink it? You don’t know how much maneuvering I had to do to get this shit up here.”

Remus regained a little bit of his sanity after the kiss and said, “Siri you know we’re not allowed to have alcohol. Do you want to get expelled? We have to get rid of this immediately!”

Sirius frowned and then relaxed. “Keep your shirt on love! I’ll get rid of it. But first...”

Sirius took off his own shirt and took the band out of his hair and shook it out. Fuck. He was damn sexy. Remus could feel himself getting hard and he blushed realizing his desire for Sirius was out in the open. Sirius kissed Remus again but this time he slipped his tongue into Remus’s mouth deepening the kiss. Sirius began to bite, lick and suck every inch of Remus’s neck. Remus moaned aloud and he heard Sirius mutter a silencing charm. Sirius was leading the way into temptation and Remus was gladly following.

Sirius unbuttoned Remus’s shirt and threw it towards the portrait hole; proceeding then to nip and lick Remus’s nipples. By the time Sirius got to his belt buckle he was rock hard and squirming. Sirius looked up at Remus and asked, “May I?” All Remus could do was nod. Sirius unbuckled Remus’s belt then pulled off his pants and boxers all in the same motion. Remus was naked as the day he was born and he felt the heat of embarrassment in his cheeks. He had closed his eyes. Sirius said huskily “Open your eyes love I want you to see this.”

Remus opened his eyes and Sirius took the whole length of him into his mouth. Remus moaned and put his hands in Sirius’s beautiful black hair. He knew he wouldn’t last a moment longer but the warmth of Sirius’s mouth had already left his member. Sirius offered Remus a hand and he pulled him down onto the floor. Sirius said lovingly, “Are you ready? Because if you aren’t then we can stop right here”

Remus said breathlessly, “Take me Sirius. I want it.”

“Relax your muscles. I’m going to use lube so don’t worry and I’m also going to stretch you so it won’t hurt that bad. I want this to be special for you. Tell me to stop if anything hurts.”
Sirius inserted one finger into Remus and then the other moving them around to stretch the opening. When Remus began to move with his fingers Sirius knew it was time. Sirius slowly guided himself into Remus and then they began to move together. Slow at first and then faster. Remus came first and then Sirius followed shortly behind him. As they lay together on the floor Remus asked, “How was I?”

Sirius replied, “You were perfect love.”

End Flashback

Sirius and Remus had sex anytime and anywhere. It was as if they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. He began feeling ill. He was nauseous and bloated. Almost every morning without fail he would throw up. He also had a strange constant craving for sour cream. He told himself, “But I can’t be!” But a little voice in his head told him, “Yes, you certainly can be. You weren’t taking birth control.” He began avoiding Sirius at all costs and tonight he was reading up on his ‘condition.’ And after reading one page of the symptoms he admitted it to himself; he was pregnant. Male pregnancy’s last only 6 months and he also learned that he will be beginning to show soon. He knew he should go to Madam Pomphrey but he was worried that he...and even possibly Sirius would be kicked out of school. He definitely could not tell Sirius himself. Remus was afraid that if Sirius learned of his pregnancy then he would leave him. It was all so complicated. Sobs racked Remus’s body.

Remus had not noticed that somebody else was there with him. He was startled when he looked up from the desk that he was sitting at red eyed and tired to see Severus Snape standing before him. Severus looked at Remus carefully and asked in a strange un-Snape like manner “Are you all right?” At this Remus burst out in noisy tears that flowed freely down his cheeks. Severus stood still for a second and then reached out his hand and put it on Remus’s. Remus looked up after awhile and saw Severus sitting there staring at him with concern. Severus was extremely handsome. But wait...wasn’t this what had gotten him into this mess in the first place? Remus yanked his hand back and looked up at Severus who now looked a little downtrodden. He asked, “What’s wrong? Is there anything I can do to help?” This couldn’t be Snape! Cold, unfeeling creature as he was?

Remus asked in a choked voice, “Why do you care? I thought you hated me?”

Severus answered, “Hate you? Definitely not! Just because your friends are assholes that doesn’t mean you’re one. Please tell me what’s wrong. Maybe I can help.”

Remus was tired and he finally spilled it all out to Severus Snape in a burst of words, “I’m pregnant! Pregnant! And I’m not even out of school yet. Oh my God...I don’t know what to do! I feel awful. I wasn’t taking birth control...how could I have forgot?! How could he have forgot!?”

Severus asked, “He?”

Remus said in a whisper, “Sirius...”

Severus was silent for a moment and then he said, “You need to go to Madam Pomphrey and get yourself checked out. How far along are you?”

“A month...I haven’t told him. Shit. I can’t tell him. We’re too young to raise a child. Fuck, I don’t know what I’m going to do. Sirius will freak if I tell him...what if he rejects me?!”

“Remus, I know this is very painful but you need to tell Sirius that you’re carrying his child. He’ll know soon enough when you begin to show. Have you had sex with anyone else? Are you sure he’s the father?”

“I’m positive. He was my first and only. Wait just a bloody second...were my ears deceiving me or did you just used Sirius’s first name? ”

“Let’s just say that there was more between Sirius and I that met the eye...”

“What?! You were lovers?”

“I wouldn’t call us lovers but we’ve had sex. But I swear that ever since he got with you I have steered clear of him.”

“That’s damn sexy.”

“What?”

“You and Sirius fucking. Did he top?”

“No, I did.”

It took a little more cajoling on Severus’s part but finally Remus agreed to let Madam Pomphrey take a look at him.
