Redemption

Draco was running towards the gates of Hogwarts. He couldn’t believe it, though he beheld it with his own eyes. Severus Snape had killed Dumbledore, something that he had been unable to do. Fear coursed through him as he imagined the Dark Lord’s wrath for his lack of following orders.

He reached the gates of Hogwarts and ran through them after removing the wards the way Snape had told him to. Reaching the apparition point, Draco apparated to Snape’s home on Spinner’s End.

Once her arrived there, he quickly entered the house to wait for Snape as he was told. After fifteen minutes, he began to fear that Snape had been captured by one of the members of the Order. A few minutes later of panicing later, Snape rushed into the house.

“Bloody hell, Draco! Why didn’t you tell me that you were moving on Dumbledore tonight? You are a fool!” Severus said, his face much paler that usual. “We must move quickly, or the Dark Lord will kill you for your failure! I am sending you to Viktor Krum. He is a spy, the same as I and I am sure that he will protect you until we can think of something to do with you. Take hold of my arm.”

Draco did as he was asked and Snape apparated them both to the house of Viktor Krum.

Once Viktor had lead them in, Severus gave him Cliff notes version of what had happened.

“Of course Draco can stay here with me,” Viktor said.

“Thank you,” Snape said before turning to Draco. “Do nothing stupid. You cannot contact you friends or your mother. You must stay here and do only what Viktor tells you while I try to clean up the mess you have made.”

Draco, who had been silent through the conversation, nodded mutely, his face burtning with shame.

Snape left the house and apparated back to his Dark Lord. After arriving at the apparition point next to the Dark Lord’s lair, Snape hurried to the throne room.

“My Lord,” Snape said, kneeling upon entering the Dark Lords presence.

“What took you so long, Severus?” the Dark Lord asked aoldly. “Those who went with Draco arrived back here half an hour ago.”

“My apologies, my Lord, I was looking for Draco. I was unable to find him.”

“I have been informed that you were the one to kill Dumbledore. Is this the truth?” the Dark Lord asked. Snape could feel him entering his mind, but he had already prepared himself for the invasion of his mind.

“Yes, my Lord. The boy was not able to do it himself,” Severus replied.

“Crucio!” exclaimed He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.

Severus, who was still on his knees, screamed in pain as the spell hit him. He fell onto his side as his body writhed in agony. When Severus was released from the spell, he continued to lay on the ground, panting.

“Thank you for eliminating Dumbledore. However, the next time you let a mear child outsmart you, I will not be so lenient,” the Dark Lord said menacingly. “I want Narcissa Malfoy killed and then I want someone watching Malfoy mannor to be watched for the inevitable return of Draco. Do not hurt him. I want that pleasure for myself.”

“I just couldn’t do it, Viktor. I just couldn’t kill him,” Draco said miserably.

“It is very hard to take a life,” Viktor said, handing Draco another glass of Firewhiskey. Draco quickly downed the contents of the glass with a grimace. He could feel the warmth of the alcohol moving through his veins. “How did you become a Death Eater and a Member of the Order of the Phoenix?”

“Dumbledore told me that, with my contacts and my success in Quidditch and the fact that I am a Pure-blood would interest He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. Sure enough, he sent his Death Eaters to get me and bring me before the Dark Lord himself. Of course I took the mark instead of being killed. Then I contacted Dumbledore to tell him that he had been right all along. He asked me if I would be willing to spy for him for the Order. I accepted his position as a spy against You-Know-Who,” Viktor explained. “What about you? How did you get involved in all this? You have not yet graduated, right?”

I was in my sixth year. I ogt the Dark Mark and took my father’s place in the circle. I thought that I was doing the right thing. My Aunt Bellatrix had vouched for me to the Dark Lord. Then he told me that he wanted me to kill Dumbledore. He said unless I proved myself loyal to him he would kill my mother and I. I was honored to be given such a chance but when I stood on the Astronomy Tower with a disarmed Dumbledore, I just could not bring myself to do it. Dumbledore offered to hide my mother and I from You-Know-Who. I was about to take him up on his offer when Amycus, Alecto, and Greyback came up onto the tower with us. They kept telling me to do it but I still couldn’t. When Snape arrived. He did as Dumbledore asked and killed him. I think that something was wrong with Dumbledore, he seemed so weak…” Draco trailed off before drinking another glass of Firewhiskey that Viktor had filled for him. “Then we were fleeing and Snape told me how to get through the wards at the gates and you know the rest.”

“That is such a shame. Dumbledore was a good man and a brilliant wizard. He will be sorely missed,” Viktor said with unshed tears of murning in his eyes. “It is strange,” he said, changing the subject, “I was just thinking of you when you showed up. I was remembering when I came to your school in your fourth year for the Triwizard Turnament. Do you ever think of us?”

Draco was taken aback by his forwardness. Viktor had shown him the heights of pleasure in his fourth year. It had been his first sexual experience and he had been craving that feeling again. He even fancied that he was falling in for Harry Potter though he had done everything he could to not let Harry know of his true feelings.

“I remember,” Draco replied thickly. “I always imagine that it is you that I am with when I fuck Pansy.”

Viktor smirked. “I think you need some comfort tonight, if you are interested, that is.”

Draco nodded his head, unable to speak as the lust shown from Viktor’s eyes. He was gorgeous as he usually was, but when in the throes of passion he was God-like.

Viktor led Draco to his room and, with a wave of his wand, both men were naked. Viktor kissed Draco passionately as they ran their hands over each other, rediscovering each other.

Draco groaned as Viktor dropped to his knees and began to suck Draco’s hard cock. His wet, hot mouth moved expertly over the erect member. Then Draco was pulling him up to kiss him again.

“I want to come as you fuck me,” Draco said huskily.

They made their way over to the bed where Draco immediately got on all fours. Viktor used a spell to lubricate both his cock and Draco’s ass before slamming into the blond man before him. He rode Draco hard and when he could feel his orgasm approaching, he reached around for Draco’s cock and began to jerk him off. They came together, Draco calling out in abandon as he released his seed all over the bed. Viktor came hard deep inside Draco, chanting in Bulgarian.

They collapsed on the bed to regain their breath before casting a cleaning charm on themselves and on the bed. Draco and Viktor craweled into the bed, spent. Draco put his head on Viktor’s chest and began to cry. Viktor held him close, whispering soothingly until they both fell into an exhausted sleep.

Professor McGonagall sat heavily on the chair behind Dumbledore’s desk. She had just finished with the Minister and now that she was alone, she could grieve the loss of her lover of so many years.
She forced herself to stop crying after a few minutes and blew her nose. She was determined to be done with this foolishness of grieving when there was so much to do. She began to go through the papers on Dumbledore’s desk. Nothing that she read gave her any clue as to where Dumbledore had been. Then she saw a roll of parchment in one of his drawers. It was addressing to her in Dumbledore’s writing. She quickly unsealed the roll and quickly read what was in the letter, her eyes getting wider with every line. Once she had finished reading, she sat back in the chair dumbfounded. This changed everything.

“Bloody hell,” she swore as she rose and hurried out of the room and to the hospital wing to find the Order members, the parchment clasped tightly in her hand.
