The Wolf Is Claimed

A bark of laughter rang out into the hallway.

The sound was muffled from outside a bedroom in a large house; the only two people present in the structure were currently in the same room. The fact that there weren’t many visitors in the mansion amused the man who was in his old and now current bedroom.

The sheets on his bed rustled frantically. Toes curled, lips were bit in anticipation, laughter could be heard numerous amounts of times.

"Oh gods!” The moan of a full grown man shouted into the silence of the room. The man was bent over, being held fast by another man with long black hair and a muscular build.

Just then, the bedroom door squeaked open and two quick footsteps indicated someone had entered the threshold.

"Black, I--what the hell is going on?” A voice drawled from the doorway.

Sirius broke apart from his lover, looked towards the door, and froze. It was Snape.

“So this is what you do in your excessive free time, Black."

"Piss off, Snape. Get the hell out!” Sirius barked, pulling the sheets up over himself and Remus.

"Why should I?” Snape said, still standing in the doorway. “I was just coming to ask you if you’ve seen Lupin. Obviously you’ve seen a lot of him.”

“I’m warning you.” Sirius hissed, his eyes fierce.

“What? Ashamed of your current situation?”

“Not at all, would you like us to continue?” Sirius snapped. “And aren’t you supposed to be out for the Order?”

Snape sneered at him. “Shut up Black. I merely wanted to collect Lupin for something.”

Sirius grumbled as he felt Remus move beside him. He could tell his lover was putting his clothes on that had ended up beneath the sheets.

“Don’t go, Moony.” Sirius told him, touching his face. “You can stay with me instead of working for the Order tonight. We’ll just make him do it.” He said, indicating Snape.

"I have to.” Remus choked.

Sirius sighed as Remus crawled out of bed, fully dressed, then hesitantly and slowly strode up to stand beside Snape.

Snape stared at Remus for a moment, then snaked his arm around the man’s waist and touched Lupin's arse. He peirced his eyes into Remus's. “You’re mine! What have I told you about sneaking out without my permission!?”

A jolt struck through Sirius like a million volts. “Moony...” He whispered to himself in total disbelief.

“I-I’m sorry—“ Remus sputtered right away.

Snape slapped him so hard across the face that he staggered and hit the doorframe. Severus shoved Lupin bodily out of them room so that he landed painfully on his knees on the wooden floor of the hallway.

He turned to glare at Sirius. “If you ever steal my man away again, I’ll kill you.” Severus hissed at him. “C’mon Lupin.” He ordered, pulling the man by the neck of his shirt and dragging him down the hallway.

Sirius didn’t say a word. He couldn’t move.
