Harry Potter and the Realm of Apocalypse

K not all the facts apply, like when Harry says he won’t come back to Hogwarts for his 7th year, in this he does, so does everyone else. Basically the story is this: McGonagall gives her life to revive Dumbledore, and he regains the headmaster position at Hogwarts. As he tries to restore order, the consequences of Minerva’s spell begin. The school's defenses are weakened, and Voldemort takes advantage of it. He knows that Dumbledore is alive again, so he curses the school, throwing into a different realm. Dumbledore tries to restore Hogwarts to its rightful place, and succeeds...but he accidentally causes a rip in the astral separation, and the two worlds mesh, creating the Realm of Apocalypse. And in case anyone wonders, Harry is still the main character, but just not as much so in the actual books. ENJOY

After Dumbledore's death, and Snape's betrayal, the wizarding world is turned upside down. The ministry has been attacked, the Minister slain, and the Dark forces are rising, even in the muggle world. The strongest wizards to date are working to secure the safety of both worlds, which has turned London into a battleground.Voldemort has conquered the Americas, and half of Asia. And at the crippled ministries aid, stands the teachers, and students of Hogwarts, trying desperately to survive......
************The War dies********
The world has fallen into a time of tense peace. Voldemort has disappeared and the dark forces have retreated. Harry Potter prepares for his final year at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry stands at platform 9 3/4 waiting for the train to arrive. He anxiously waits for the arrival of his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley.........
***********Meanwhile, at Hogwarts...************
An old woman looms over an ancient spell book, desperately cleaving through the pages. The title is 'A Life for A Life: Exchanging souls'.
The old woman stops, and gives a sigh of relief, as she stares down the page she quested.
"Thank heavens...we're saved...."
The elder stands and strides over to a platform, and stands upon it. She looks at the spell and mutters the words, 'Tribuo meus Vita ut Recro Alius. EGO accerso Animus Nexus, Morte.' A flash of green light, and a red ring up, from the platform, enveloping the woman's body. She groans in agony as her skin begins to burn, then sear... The ring of light turns to a violent shade of blue, and she screams....and disappears. In her place stands a tall, bent old man. Shaking his head with a sad look in his eye. The man walks to his old portrait, where Minerva McGonagall now rests. She looks up,
"Albus.....I'm sorry but the world needs you. More than it needs a witch like me."
Albus Dumbledore straightens and gives a firm look.
"You know the consequences of reversing death, even with an exchange. I fear your noble deed may be in vain."
*************************Hours later***************
Harry sits alone in a cabin on the train speeding towards Hogwarts, more worried than ever. 'Where are they?' Harry begins to think, ‘I hope they're o.k.' Harry drifts into sleep, as his worries overtake his thoughts.

Harry woke up...in his bed at Hogwarts and shot up, startled. He looked around the room and noticed it was empty. He climbs out of bed, fully dressed, and leaves the dormitory. The knot in his stomach loosens as he hears the sound of hushed voices, as he continues towards the Great Hall. He reaches the main entrance, and quickens his pace, eager to see a familiar face. He bursts through the Great Hall's door.....
'DUMBLEDORE'
Harry sprints past the feasting students straight up the head table. Dumbledore looked up and smile at Harry.
"Harry, my dear boy. I am glad to see your excitement due to my return."
"Professor, how? I mean you were hit by the Killing Curse, how could you have survived?"
"As you saw, I did die from them blast, but one of our staff made a noble sacrifice to assure my revival"
Harry looked down the table.....
"McGonagall...."
"Harry, you mustn’t worry, she is well. You can visit her anytime in my office of you like." Harry gave a nod
"But professor, you told me, back in my first year, that you couldn’t bring back the dead....Oh my god! My Par-"
"Harry, Harry, Calm yourself. What I told you those 6 years ago, applied then, Minerva had just unearthed the book during the summer of your 5th year. This does not mean that you can just bring your parents back. It comes at a terrible price. You see, the way the spell works is-"
"Professor?"
"Harry I want you to take some food, and go back to your dormitory, I should think Hermione and Ron are back by now."
"But-"
"Harry, these are dangerous times, you must not question me. We will continue this discussion at a safer time."
With that, the professor was gone, along with 3 other teachers. Harry did as Dumbledore said, and went up to the dormitory, where, as Dumbledore said, Hermione and Ron were. But there was a problem.....They were dead.
