The Life Of Sirius Black

Sirius apologized to Remus for the prank he had played on Snape. He is sorry, and he didn’t mean to hurt Remus, he loves him. It is hard to admit it to himself, let alone to Remus, who will reject him. He has loved Remus for a long time, but he didn’t know what the feeling was until Remus had gotten so angry at him, and had stopped talking to him.

I've lived in this place and I know all the faces
Each one is different but they're always the same
They mean me no harm but it's time that I face it
They'll never allow me to change
But I never dreamed home would end up where I don't belong

Sirius strikes out on his own at sixteen, old for his age and confused at the feelings he has for Remus. Isn’t he supposed to feel like this for a girl? He is ashamed and is angry with his body. He thinks that something is wrong with him, and it is a long while before he accepts that he is normal.

At last I can see life has been patiently waiting for me
And I know there's no guarantees, but I'm not alone
There comes a time in everyone's life
When all you can see are the years passing by
And I have made up my mind that those days are gone

Sirius has finally told Remus how he feels, and is pleasantly surprised to find out that Remus feels the same way. Remus tells him that he had realized his feelings after Sirius had played the prank on Snape. Remus found himself loving the other boy in spite of what he had done. Sirius and Remus have graduated and are finally living together and happy.

I sold what I could and packed what I couldn't
Stopped to fill up on my way out of town
I've loved like I should but lived like I shouldn't
I had to lose everything to find out
Maybe forgiveness will find me somewhere down this road

Sirius has ended up in Azkaban and is reflecting on all that he has lost for the decision he made when he asked James to make Peter his secret keeper. He lost James and Lily, he can’t be a Godfather to their son Harry, but he has also lost Remus for good. Remus will never love him again, he will never forgive him, his life is over…

Finally out of Azkaban, Sirius has patched up his relationship with Remus and they are once again happy, fighting the good fight, together again.

“God Sirius! Nooooooo! Don’t leave me again, please” The wolf inside of Remus howls in anguish. He holds Harry tight, clinging desperately to the boy as Sirius vanishes beyond the veil.

Author's Note: I was listening to this song and thinking about Sirius and Remus... This is my first shot at fan fiction, so please read and review and try to be gentle! ;) I plan on writing some of my own stuff too. This was just for fun.
