the morning she was to start her fifth year at her new school, Hogwarts. *

well call it Pig Pimples* she giggled, thinking of Token Gem Prep, Elite
School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in Southern California, her old school.

told her of Hogwarts at the beginning of the summer when they had first moved
to the manor in
she thought, letting the hot water flow over her body as she thought about the
reason her whole family had had to relocate.
Her father, the prestigious Kale Wyatt Clover
XV, was from a long line of American pureblooded wizards. He was raised to be
the best. As a result, he was a very strict, demanding, and all together
domineering man "“ unbending in the expectations he had of his family. He had
been all set to live a carefree life of luxery
provided by the long-line of wealthy pure-bloods in his family's history. If he
hadn't have met and fell in love with Katrianna's
mother. Satoria Deirdre Miles was an heiress from a
family that was just as wealthy as the Clovers and she was a talented witch to
boot. But there was one problem "“ she was muggle-born.
Upon learning where his son's affections and loyalties lie, Kale Clover XIV disowned
his son. But unbeknownst to Kale, Sr., his wife kept Kale Jr. in her will.
Therefore, when the elder Clovers passed all of their wealth went to their only
son, rather than his cousin as Kale Clover XIV had intended. The Clover fortune
plus Satoria's dowry and inheritance meant that the
Miles-Clovers were of the most elite class of families in the
other families, considering the fact that Satoria was
muggle-born.
After being disowned, Kale XV became an
Ambassador to the International Magic Office of Law. His position meant that he
was often absent from the home. But that was fine with Katrianna,
she didn't like her father much, and seeing as how her mother was a
stay-at-home wife and mother, she did the primary child-rearing of both
Miles-Clover.
*Comfortable
but cute* she thought as she started getting dressed in the clothes she had
picked out for herself the night before. Black cargo pants (Capri length) with
light grey camouflage print; a purple horizontally striped sweater, one size
too big so that it fell appealingly off of her right shoulder; a black too-big
belt that she wrapped around her waist twice; and high-top black boots with
purple laces and thick black socks that normally came up to just below her
knees, but she scrunched them down. She topped the outfit off with purple
dangle earrings and big bug purple sunglasses. Finally for
her hair. She usually wore it straight and a little bit below her
shoulders. She was a metamorphmagus so she could
change it at will. Usually she kept the color a deep, shiny brown because it
looked very pretty against her olive-toned skin. Today she decided to wear it
wavier than usual and pulled it into a sloppy-yet-cute ponytail on the side of
her head. Merlin, she was so LA, it almost made her sick.
