When It All Ends

It started long time ago maybe about 11 years. We were both 11 then. And for 11 years she was always there for me. She probably knew me better then I knew myself. I never knew I could be so lucky.

We met 11 years ago, I knew exactly who he was just with that scar. He came and saved me when no one else did. We were best friends along with Ron we became the “Golden Trio”.

It was when the war started I mean really started. Not the day Sirius died the day when all hell broke loose. I was going to go after him I was finally going to get my chance. But she stopped me she asked me to come back with her. And I did. I realized I would do anything she asked without so much of a thought.

I think it was the day the war started. When I realized how much he meant to me. He was going to run off, he was going to die. But I wasn’t ready, I remember thinking he wasn’t leaving without me.

The summer that followed is when I had the courage to ask her. To finally tell her how I felt. I remember her asking me to spend the summer with her. Well a month after I was there, we were in the pool and I remember chasing after her. I don’t know how it happen but I remember feeling happy for once. I kissed her.

I ask Harry to spend the summer at my house. Over a month I convinced him to wear contacts but the day we were in the pool he didn’t wear his contacts he wore his glasses. So I took them and ran. I remember him catching me, but then he kissed me and I didn’t want him to stop.

We both made Heads and it was the best year I ever had. Voldermort was quiet and I hoped he would just stay that way. Well that year came and went and at the Graduation Ball I didn’t let her go not for one moment. Because without her I’m empty, without her I’m incomplete.

Well that year we made Heads and I couldn’t ask for a better year. I was worried, Voldermort was quiet, mean not one murder. That year came and went, we both passed our N.E.W.T.s and Harry got an offer to be a Auror in training, while I got accepted to a Medical College. At the Graduation Ball Harry didn’t let go of me and I’m glad he didn’t. Because I knew no one else could do this to me.

Two years have passed since then and over that course of time I became a full- fledged auror and ask Hermione to marry me. But that quiet year was payed for because people, wizards and muggle alike, were being offed worst then before.

Harry asked for my hand in marriage and I was able to become an apprentice at St. Mungo’s Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. There I was able to see how bad the war became.

I didn’t see Hermione that much. I trained day and night to prepare myself for him. And a year later I did. The whole war broke loose and she stood by me through the whole thing. But I caught sight of Ron and he had the nerve to try and kill me and Hermione. And I did the hardest thing I would ever have to do. I killed him, and till this day I remember his eyes, so lifeless. We passed Remus and I left Hermione there. And Voldermort found me and we fought for a long time and finally, he was gone. I finally did it. I wasn’t the “Boy-Who-Lived” anymore, I was The” Man- Who-Won.”

I didn’t see Harry that much and when the final battle came a year later I stood by him. We came by Ron and he tried to kill me and Harry, but then he dropped dead, Harry killed him and I didn’t remember him saying the words. Harry pulled me up and gave me to Remus and took off after Voldermort. And they battled for along time. But finally Harry shouted that dreadful curse. And when the smoke cleared Voldermort was on the ground and Harry was kneeling on the ground completely drained. And I ran to him.

Seven months later we were married and I was Mrs. Harry James Potter. We didn’t go to any balls. We went on a honeymoon and when we came back to the flat. Harry gave me the most wonderful gift ever. Harry had over the month we were gone Godric’s Hallow fixed and repaired. For the next two months we got everything ready to move. So now here I am Looking at our old bedroom. Every last detail, and every memory with it.

“ Hermione, love, you finish yet?” harry called.
“ Yes Harry I am”as I closed the suitcase.

I walked down the stairs to my waiting husband. To see that he is by the door.

“Ready?” He asked “
“Yeah.” I say ” Yeah I am, let’s go, shall we?”
“After you” he says.

I look back one more time one my life before we apparate. And I have no regrets and I think. When it’s all ends, there’s always a new beginning.
