Harry Potter in Smallville

Harry couldn’t believe his aunt and uncle made him and Dudley move to this place. Smallville was a good name for it as that is what it was. Uncle Vernon had gotten a new job for some place called Luther Corp. So the entire family moved.

Harry would have been worried about not attending Hogwarts any more, but that wouldn’t matter to any one any more. After all who needs a savior when the evil has been vanquished. And it had over the summer. Ron and Hermione were starting their sixth year without him, but he knew they didn’t care. They flat out told him so after he had vanquished Voldemort. He heard the older Weasleys saying they were glad they didn’t need to pretend to like him anymore. They had been like that since he told them he was gay. He had no way to tell Dumbledore that he wouldn’t be attending this year, but he doubted he would care anyway. He wished Sirius was here to make him feel better, but he fell beyond the veil and was not coming back.

So here he was walking up to his new high school with Dudley in some of Dudley’s old hand-me downs wishing he were anyone but himself.

Harry was the first one to make it to biology, his first class of the day. He had taken tests to see what classes he was eligible for and was glad he had decided to continue his muggle education in his free time at Hogwarts. He looked up when he heard people walking into the room. There were three of them, two boys and a girl, one of the boys was black and shorter than the other, but looked to be taller than Harry, granted that wasn’t hard to achieve, he hated being short and blamed it on the malnutrition at the Dursleys. The other boy was tall and had dark hair and was wearing flannel, which Harry couldn’t help but have a crush on. The girl was short and had blond hair.

The girl was the first to notice him there and decided that her and the other boys should sit with him.

Once they were all seated she introduced them. “Hi, I am Chloe, and these two are Clark and Pete.”

“I’m Harry”

“Where are you from?” asked Clark.

“London”

“No offence, but how old are you?” Asked Pete

“16”

“Wow you look a lot younger. We are all 16 too.” Replied Chloe.

“I get that a lot.” Harry replied.

“So what does your schedule look like?” Asked Clark

Harry just handed it over for them to look at. “You are in all of our classes. Why don’t you just stick with us and we will show you around.” Suggested Chloe

“Thanks” replied Harry.

Their new classmate intrigued the other three. He was so small and looked as if he never had a full meal in his life. Chloe noticed how much Clark was staring at him though. He had told his parents and her and Pete that he was gay, and they were all cool with it. Chloe could tell Clark might have developed a little crush and nudged Pete to see if he saw it to. The wink she got from him answered her unvoiced question.

Clark couldn’t help but stare at Harry. He looked like he came up to just about his chin. He had the messiest hair he had ever seen and he didn’t think anyone’s eyes could be that green.

Just then the room began to fill up and the bell rang so every one could take their seats. When they were all seated, Mr. Allen told them all to pick someone to be their lab partner for the year. Chloe and Pete automatically went together hoping Harry and Clark would pair up which they did.

When class was done the four of them went to their lockers to get their books then headed to their next class. This is how things went until lunch. They got to know Harry a little better during the passing periods and noticed he wasn’t as shy once he got to know them. During lunch they talked about a lot of different things, but noticed he tried to talk as little about his old school as possible. They found out his family didn’t care for him much and that his parents were dead. They also found out that his friends at his old school had turned on him and they couldn’t help but be angry for him, he really was nice and didn’t deserve all bad things that happened to him. They hoped he could see past all that and let them be his friends. They vowed that if he did they wouldn’t treat him like the others had.
