Chapter: 1
Ron leaned back against the seat of the sofa as he gripped the bottle of firewiskey tightly in his large hands. He had taken to the bottle so many times before but this time he was planning on going all the way; drinking to death. He couldn’t stand all the reasons and memories that caused this idea to go through his mind.
He sighed sadly and tried to remember when it all began, ‘Ron had just gotten back from a wild party in Hogsmead and he was completely drunk. He stumbled into the Gryffindor common room and found Hermione sitting on a couch looking very pissed off.
“Where have you been? Why are you so drunk? Don’t you know it’s dangerous to drink this late at night? Don’t you ever use your head?” She fired off a couple more questions before Ron just walked past her and went to the boys’ dorm to get some much needed rest.
Every time Ron came back late or tried to get a date with Hermione, she would accuse him of drinking. Ron had never touched a drop of alcohol after that wild party but Hermione never believed him. After graduation, Hermione ran off with Viktor Krum and Ron never heard from her again.
Then there was Harry. Harry had believed him most of the time and they even shared an apartment for a while after graduation, but when Hermione left the drinking got a little out of hand and Harry moved out.
Ron’s family wasn’t exactly very supportive and helpful after both these events happened. Ron had asked to move back home for a short while but Mrs. Weasley had firmly said no and Ron was left alone. All of this had happened three short months after graduation from Hogwarts. What hurt the most for Ron was no one had tried to help him fix any of his problems.’
Ron sighed again and stood up. He was about to go to the bathroom when he heard a couple of soft knocks on the front door. Ron groaned and opened the front door to see who bothered to even visit. A girl with long silvery-blond hair stood at the door step of his two bedroom apartment. He intense blue eyes shone with glee. She looked no older then Ron’s age with a small build and Ron was at least a head taller than her.
“Hello, I’m looking for a Mr. Harry Potter,” the girl stated cheerfully.
Ron mentally sighed and shook his head. “He doesn’t live here anymore. If you’re one of his fans he’s already married.” Ron paused for a moment and remembered how he hadn’t been invited to his sister’s and ex-best friend’s wedding.
“Oh, um, no I’m not on of his fans. I’m here to deliver his magazine subscription,” she corrected. She handed Ron a magazine that had the words ‘Play Boy’ written boldly across the top of the cover.
Ron would have laughed if he weren’t in such a bad mood. He handed the magazine back to her and gave his best apologetic smile. “Well, he’s not here and I don’t know where he lives so if you’ll excuse me I’ve got other things to do.”
Ron made to close the door but it wouldn’t. The girl had stuck her foot out to prevent it from closing. “Are you alright?” She asked curiously. “You seem a little out of it.” She pushed the door open and stepped into Ron’s filthy apartment.
The paint on the walls was holding up but it was slightly stained. The carpet floors were a mess from when trips to the bathroom were not made in time. Firewiskey bottles littered the floors and any other available surface area.
The blond shook her head and went into the unkempt kitchen. She grabbed a green garbage bag and started to clean up the empty bottles. Afterwards, she got out some carpet cleaner and scrubbed the floors till they looked new again. She didn’t have anything for the walls but she decided they were clean enough.
All through this, Ron just stared in amazement. When she started pouring his liquor supply down the kitchen sink, he took a stand. “What do you think you’re doing?”
“You can’t fix your problems unless you get rid of their main source,” she explained profoundly. “My name is Samantha, by the way.” She washed her hands and got a pen and a piece of paper out of her purse. She wrote something down quickly then stuck it down on the refrigerator with a magnet.
“You could really use some exercise,” Samantha said after looking Ron up and down. “Oh well, anyways, that paper has my name and number on it if you ever want to talk. I know this is probably weird for you but I’m not the shyest person and I like to help who I can. I suppose I should go now. I’ve got lots more magazines to deliver, I hate part-time jobs. I’ll se you later, bye.” Before Ron could say anything, she was out the door.
He blinked and smiled lightly. This had been a very interesting few hours and to be honest, it tired him out a bit. He lay down on the couch and closed his eyes. A smile still graced his lips before he drifted off to dream land.

The sun shone brightly through the uncovered windows. Ron sat up and groaned. His head was pounding from the all that drinking the pervious day. The memory of Samantha came rushing back but it didn’t cheer his somber mood. He got up and took some aspirins before checking the time. 12:46 pm. He had slept through the morning. Ron sat down on a chair in the kitchen and held his head in his hands. Looking up at Samantha’s number on the fridge; and idea popped into his head. He dialed the number into his cordless phone and waited while the phone rang.
“Hello?” A voice asked.
“Hi, this is Ron, I’m looking for Samantha,” Ron replied.
“This is Samantha, and I don’t know anyone named Ron.”
Ron mentally slapped himself before answering. “Oh, I’m the guy you helped yesterday. I was wondering if your offer of talking was still up for grabs.”
Samantha shrieked excitedly. “Of course! I’ll be over there in half an hour!” Ron heard her hang up so he did the same. This girl really was something else.
Sure enough, half an hour later there was a knock on the door. Ron answered and let Samantha in.
“So, what would you like to talk about?” She asked curiously.
Ron ran his hands through his hair and motioned for her to sit down. When she did, he began his sad tale. She listened carefully while nodding but never interrupted once. By the end of the story, Ron was close to tears. Samantha comforted him until he was able to speak again. For the rest of the day, they talked about themselves. Ron admitted to being a wizard and Samantha said she knew and that she was a witch. She found out about him being a wizard from the firewiskey labels. By the time night came, they were pretty close friends.
“I’d love to stay, really, but I have to head home. I really hope to talk to you again, you’re very understanding,” Samantha commented while heading for the front door.
“Yeah, I’d like that, and thanks again for everything. You may be weird but I’m glad you are.” Samantha blushed at this comment and left without another word.
Ron went to his bedroom and lay down on the fresh sheets that Samantha had put on his bed earlier that day. He wasn’t sure what it was, but he really hoped Samantha wouldn’t stop talking to him.
- - - - - - -
“This is getting out of control, Ron!” Samantha shrieked after she found Ron lying on the couch with his third bottle of firewiskey that day. They had been friends for seven months. Samantha did whatever she could to help Ron get out of his drinking habit but nothing seemed to work. “Why won’t you go get some professional help?” Samantha was in a fit of tears by now.
“I don’t need no fucking helps,” Ron slurred drunkenly. Well, after three bottles of firewiskey you’d have to have a very high alcohol tolerance to not end up drunk.
Samantha just shook her head and left the apartment. On her way back to her own apartment she thought about what the reason could be that he started drinking again. Ron had stopped drinking for a whole week until Samantha found him.
When she got through her front door. She closed it and let the tears fall freely now. With her back against the wall, she slid down it and curled up into a ball.
- - - - - - -
Samantha woke up to the very annoying sound of ringing. She stood up and stretched her sore muscles before answering it. She picked up the receiver and said, “hi, Ron.”
“Oh, uh, hey Samantha. I’m sorry…I really am! Please, don’t hate me,” Ron said pathetically.
“I can’t keep doing this. I offered you my help but you never use it! I don’t want to be your maid for the rest of our friendship,” she retaliated sadly. She felt tears in her eyes once again but she violently brushed them away.
“I know, I get it now. I’m…I’m willing to get professional help if it means I get to keep you as a good friend,” Ron whispered. ‘Not that I deserve you,’ he thought bitterly.
“You will? Finally, oh Ron I’m so proud of you!” Samantha jumped around happily before hanging up the phone. “I’ll see you later, bye.” She hung up the phone and danced around some more. She lay down on her living room floor while sighing in contentment. ‘Maybe it’ll finally happen. Maybe we can go out some time. After a little exercise he’ll be as good as new and very hot.’ Samantha blushed at the thought and decided she should go to Ron’s place so they could pick a suitable doctor.
The knock on the door signaled Samantha’s arrival. Ron opened the door silently then walked back into the living room and sat down on the couch that held so many memories. Most of those memories were bad but now that Samantha was here, Ron hoped most of the memories would be good.
“Ron, I’m really proud of you. It takes a lot of guts to admit that you have a drinking problem. I…I was really scared that you thought drinking was more important then us,” Samantha whispered after sitting down next to Ron. Realization dawned on her and she quickly tried to fix her mistake in speech. “I mean, you and I, well, we’re good friends and…and I’d really hate to lose you.” She blushed furiously.
Ron laughed heartily. “I know what you meant. So, shall we get this over with? As happy as I am that I have your help, I don’t like talking about it. I’m sorry.”
Samantha shook her head. “Don’t apologize. We’ve done so much of that lately. I think we should try to forgive instead of the other person apologizing so much.”
The rest of the day was filled with mild conflict, phone calls, and light chatter. By the time dinner rolled around they had chosen a doctor and Ron was scheduled for weekly sessions. Samantha had also booked sessions at a local work out center to get Ron back into shape.
- - - - - - -
It had been two whole years since Ron had even touched a drop of alcohol. It had taken a whole year for him to deal with his problems. Sometimes Samantha got so frustrated that she didn’t keep her eyes off him for more then a few minutes, everyday, for an entire week. When the doctor finally deemed Ron cured, they celebrated at Ron’s apartment and that’s when Ron asked her.
‘They were sitting at the kitchen table eating dinner when Ron took Samantha’s hand in his own.
“Samantha, you have been with me through think and thin for over a year. Not even my own family was there for me. That’s why Id’ like to ask you this simple question: Will you be my girlfriend?”
Samantha had said yes and the spent the night in each others arms.’
Today was there two year anniversary. Anyone who saw them on that day would have instantly known that the two 22-year-olds were in love.
That night Ron had booked a special table at Samantha’s favorite Italian restaurant. They sat down and ate their meal while talking about or commenting on certain things. After dinner, Ron took Samantha to the little garden that had a pond and a bridge going through it. Ron sat Samantha down on a bench in the center of the beautiful garden then got down on one knee.
“Samantha Devista, you have been my light through these three years that we have known each other. No matter what, you still believed in me even when others gave up. I love you more than life itself that’s why I brought you here tonight. Samantha, will you marry me?” Ron took a small black velvet box out of his tuxedo pocket and opened it. Inside there lay a fourteen karat gold ring with three small diamonds placed delicately on top.
Samantha covered her mouth in attempt to stop the small shriek that was about to erupt from her mouth. “Oh my god, yes! I love you too!” Samantha allowed Ron to place the ring on her finger then she jumped into his arms.
Ron was now grinning like a fool but he didn’t care, he was finally happy. He guided the very happy Samantha out of the garden and they walked back to Ron’s apartment happily.
When they got back, they found an owl tapping on the window in a very annoying manner. Ron untied the letter from it’s leg and it flew off quickly. He opened it and read it aloud.
“Dear Mr. Weasley,
Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry is having its first ever reunion. We wish for you to attend it on Sunday, June 14th. You may bring one guest with you if you wish to.
-Albus Dumbledore
P.S. Please reply if you do wish to come.”
“That’s in two months from now. Please can we go, Ron? I’ve always wanted to see the inside of Hogwarts!” Samantha said gleefully.
“Fine, but only because you are so damn beautiful, soon-to-be-Samantha Weasley.” Ron quickly wrote a reply and sent it off with Delta, his owl that he had bought last week at Diagon Ally.
“Well, Mr. Weasley, if I’m so beautiful, why don’t you show me how much I am,” Samantha said slyly.
Ron grinned and kissed Samantha passionately before leading her to the bedroom that they would soon share for as long as they wished.
Ron backed Samantha towards the bed; their tongues still fighting furiously. Once the back of Samantha’s legs hit the bed, they broke apart. The blonde started to strip quickly and only once she was done and sitting on the bad, did Ron begin undressing. He slowly pulled his shirt over his head then undid his pants at a turtle’s pace. Samantha finally got frustrated with the red head and began helping him undress.
After both of them were completely naked, there mouths and tongues continued their previous battle. Meanwhile, Ron massaged Samantha’s breasts tenderly. She released a small moan which Ron toke as a signal to go farther. He trailed his hand down her body until he reached her very wet folds. Ron teased her opening by sticking the tip of his finger in then taking it out again. Samantha groaned and thrust her hips upwards. Ron grinned against her mouth and positioned himself in front of her opening. He broke the kiss and looked his fiancée in the eyes.
“Are you ready?” He asked in a loving tone.
All she did was nod before resting her hands on his shoulders. Ron held onto her hips and entered an inch before stopping to look up. Samantha smiled at him and he thrust into her deep. The both cried out in pleasure as Ron started pumping harder.
“Faster, harder!” These were the only words that Samantha was capable of saying at the moment. Ron kissed her with a force that showed all his love for her while continuing to make love to her. After a few more thrusts they both went over the edge. Ron came in her and a few seconds later she came as well. They both rested for a short while then Ron pulled out of her.
Samantha and Ron lay together in bed with their arms wrapped around each other tightly.
“Let’s get married sometime during the summer,” Ron suggested sleepily.
“Okay, sounds lovely,” Samantha murmured back. They then fell asleep into a peaceful rest.
- - - - - - - -
Samantha was sitting on the king size bed that she shared with Ron when he came in.
“You wanted to talk, baby?” Ron asked curiously.
“Yes, I did. I have some news. I...I’m pregnant. Two months to be exact,” she said in a rush.
Ron stared at her with a blank expression on his face before he broke out a large grin. “That’s fabulous news! Is that why you went to the doctor’s today? Are you okay with this?
“Yes to both. I’ll tell you more about it later, right now we need to get to Hogwarts before we’re late. We have to floo there because we won’t make the train and I can’t apperate at all while I’m pregnant.”
Ron nodded and they headed for the fireplace in the living room. Ron went first and was then followed shortly by Samantha.
“Ah, Mr. Weasley! Welcome back to Hogwarts, I see you brought a guest,” Dumbledore said cheerfully.
“Thank you, Albus. This is my fiancée, Samantha,” Ron answered politely.
“Excellent. You are the last to arrive but don’t worry you aren’t late. In fact, you are right on time. Let’s make our way to the Great Hall, shall we?”
Both Samantha and Ron nodded. On the way there, Samantha asked loads of questions about Hogwarts and the other two answered to the best of their abilities.
The Great Hall was silenced the second the trio walked into the room. Everyone stared at Ron in complete shock and looked at Samantha in confusion.
“I welcome you all back to Hogwarts, please continue to mingle while dinner continues to be prepared!” Dumbledore boomed to the crowd.
Most of the group went back to their conversations but a few people walked over to the new guests. The Weasleys, Harry, and Hermione all approached Ron and Samantha.
“Ron, how are you? And who is this charming lady?” Harry asked while attempting to kiss the back of Samantha’s hand.
Samantha pulled her hand away before Harry could kiss it and latched onto Ron’s arm in fear and mild disgust.
“Hello, Harry. I’m fine, and yourself? This, is my fiancée, Samantha so I would appreciate it if you would keep your hands off her. Don’t you have my sister to do whatever you fucking want to with?” Ron spat at his former best friend.
“You fiancée? How did you manage to grab someone as beautiful as her? Surely she didn’t agree to marry you willingly. You must have paid her with whatever small amount of money you had,” Ron retorted.
Hermione spoke up shyly, “Hello, Ron. Long time no see. I trust that you are doing well? It’s too bad I didn’t date when I had the chance.” She laughed nervously.
Ron gave her a venomous glare. “I don’t know what I saw in you all those years ago. I must have had brain damage. By the way, what happened to Vicky? Did he finally realize what a whore you are?”
Harry stopped himself from punching Ron but voiced his opinion, “shut-up! You have no idea what happened. Hermione broke up with him! Like I was saying before, you must have paid her or she wouldn’t be here!”
Samantha just lost it then. “Excuse me! I do not appreciate you talking to my fiancé like that! You have no right to accuse him of me of such acts! If you must know, I agree to his proposal because I love him, there was no mention of money or any other objects for that matter! Now, just because you happen to be the fucking boy-who-lived doesn’t give you the right to treat people like that!” Samantha took a deep breath and calmed herself down.
Hermione gave a small smile and stepped forward. “It’s nice to meet you, Samantha. Really, it is. Harry is just being a huge jerk right now. Please don’t think that all of us think like that.”
Ron rolled his eyes while Samantha looked at Hermione with mild amusement. “You’re Hermione Granger, right?” Hermione nodded meekly. “Ron has told me a bit about you. It’s a shame you couldn’t have used your intelligence to help him when he needed it.”
Hermione looked a bit offended but hid it and stepped back. Samantha tugged on Ron’s arm in signal to move before her ragging hormones took over completely. Ron shook his head and started to explain Samantha’s behavior.
“I’m sorry everyone. Samantha’s not usually like this. I would tell you why she’s acting oddly but I highly doubt that you would take the news well. As for my behavior, you treated me like dirt for much too long. So, if you will excuse us, we have people to see.” The engaged couple started to walk off but Ginny grabbed Ron’s arm.
“No, please, we really need to talk this out,” she said timidly.
Ron sighed and nodded. The large group sat down at Gryffindor table and that’s when the questions started to fly.
“So, how long have you known each other? How did you two meet?” Fred and George asked the couple.
“We have known each other for about three years. As for how we met,” Ron looked at Harry and tried hard to stop himself from laughing. “Samantha was delivering one of Harry’s, uh, pleasure magazines, because she worked part-time at a newsstand at the time, and she though I looked like I needed help so she barged into the apartment and started cleaning it. It was really quite funny now that I think of it. Anyways, she left her name and phone number on my fridge if I ever wanted to talk.” Ron burst out laughing at the very red blush that had made its way into his face. Ginny was glaring at Harry but instead of slapping him, she just cuffed him on the back of his head softly.
“Ron, how…how did you get over, um, well…,” Hermione trailed off in fear of angering Ron with her question.
“You mean how did I get over my drinking problem?” He asked. Hermione gave a weak nod in response. Everyone looked hesitant but Ron told the story anyways. “It’s simple. Samantha helped me. She made me realize that nobody is going to stay for very long if I continued. I remember that day very well. She though I had gotten better because I hadn’t had anything alcohol in a week, but when she came by one day I had drunk almost a whole bottle of firewiskey. She got angry and gave me this speech about how she wasn’t going to take it unless I got some professional help. She left me there and the next morning I realized what Samantha said was true. So, I called her and told her I was deeply sorry and that I would like her help in finding a suitable doctor to help me.”
Hermione looked extremely ashamed of herself after the story. “That’s good, Ron. I guess we were being kind of stupid when we wouldn’t help you. I mean, Samantha was a total stranger and she was willing to help you. If you don’t mind me asking, what’s the reason why Samantha’s a bit on edge today?”
“Well, we have some bigger news then us getting married,” Ron began. He paused for a moment just to get everyone listening. “Samantha is pregnant, and yes, it is my child too. Not some random bloke’s off the street.”
“Oh I’m so proud of you, Ron! You’re the first, other then your father and myself, to have children in this family!” Mrs. Weasley stated. Everyone in the group blushed while Samantha and Ron laughed.
“How far along are you, dear?” Mrs. Weasley asked curiously.
“Two months,” Samantha replied in a bored tone. She was getting quite hungry and all this chatter was testing her nerves to the max.
“Wait, how long have you two been engaged for?” Harry asked, finally feeling brave enough to speak up again.
“Two months,” Samantha and Ron replied together. Everyone went silent and looked at the couple.
“So right after he proposed to you, you two…?” Charlie trailed off in embarrassment.
Samantha giggled and nodded, Ron blushed a deep shade of red, and everyone else began laughing.
“Well, I better introduce all of you. Okay, from left to right. Okay, Samantha?” Ron said to the blond standing next to him. Samantha nodded and looked at the many faces.
“My mother or Molly Weasley, my father or Arthur Weasley, my sister or Ginny Weasley, my brothers or Fred, George, Bill, Percy, and Charlie Weasley, and my…friends or Harry Potter, and Hermione Granger,” Ron listed for Samantha.
“It’s nice to meet you all,” said Samantha. Just then, food appeared on the table and she smiled. Everyone laughed and she gave them a confused look.
“Ron used to always get that same look when he saw food,” Hermione gasped out.
Samantha chuckled and shook her said at their loud laughter. The rest of the evening was filled with talk, explanations, apologies, stories, and most important of all…eating. When midnight came, everyone made their way to leave. Samantha fell asleep right after they flooed back to the apartment.
Ron lay Samantha down gently on the large king size bed in their bedroom. He didn’t bother changing her because he knew it would wake her from her peaceful slumber. He stripped off his robes until he was only in his boxers then got into bed as well. He covered both of them with the covers then gathering his fiancée in his arms. Right then, while looking at the woman’s face, he knew that everything would be okay. He then too fell asleep and entered dreamland peacefully.
Author’s Note: Wow. That took a lot of work. It’s not my best work but I think it’s okay. Well, should I continue this or is this enough? I’d like to continue it but I’m not sure if I should. Please make sure you R&R. Thanks!

Thanks!
