Characters: Ginny, Hermione, Luna, Cho, Draco, Snape, Blaise, Lucius, Voldermort, OFC: Lynn Bell (Katie’s younger sister…)

Author Notes: First of all I do not condone rape I simply use it in my stories for dramatic effect. I also want you to know that I am a heavy supporter of Snape- I have a hard time making him evil. So if you are expecting evil, demonic Snape- you should try another story!

Disclaimer: If you recognize the characters- then I don’t own them. They are the creative property of JK Rowling. Some characters may be collaborated on at some points but they are in essence still hers. The only time a character is mine is if I list him/her in the character section as an OC!

Severus Snape fidgeted nervously; it was not like him to lose the sense of calm that was usually evident in his face and his own sense of panic seemed to spread to the other gathered death eaters. The burning pain of their dark marks had been particularly painful which meant that Voldermort was either quite happy- or incredibly mad. And with his disposition, and his failure to beat Harry Potter as of late, it was most likely that he would be fuming.

Snape was able to pull back down his mask of calm just as the door that led from Voldermort’s inner chambers to the Gathering Room, drew open. Snape flinched inwardly at the sight of the half dead man; his eyes were cold and glassy, like large red marbles and his body was thin and brittle- bones extruding at all angles. At his side stood a scantily clothed Bellatrix Black who looked quite pleased with herself. Voldermort, Snape noted, was smiling.

“Good to see you all arrived with haste, very good.” He said stepping further into the gathering of death eaters with a malicious smile. A few of the younger recruits stepped back slightly to avoid any sudden out burst of wrath.

“Well, you are obviously not here because you enjoy my company- so I shall get to the point. Severus, tell me, what is the general mood of Hogwarts at present?” Severus sighed; he was used to give such reports to Voldermort who simply wanted to know how his latest failure was going over with the student body.

“They are a bit dreary my lord, what with their end of the year exams approaching. There was a bit of celebrating after Potter’s victory but they are lately too tired to do much partying.” Snape said in his cold, monotonous voice- the same one he reserved for particularly long lectures to his First Years, (it was such a delight to punish one after he caught them asleep).

“Yes, aren’t they? And I am sure they expect me to be busily plotting my next move and mourning the failure of my last. Dear Bellatrix, won’t you tell your fellow death eaters my devilish plot?” Bellatrix gave Voldermort a sweeping, lusty look that made Snape’s insides crawl.

“We will be taking Hogwarts. We will catch them unawares and then we will use its protective and shielding charms against them, it will be our new head quarters. The students who do not die in the fight will remain for our amusement.” Bellatrix said with a wild smile.

“When will this occur milord?” Lucius asked stepping forward. Snape glanced at Draco who stood behind his father, trying to hide his bewilderment.

“Tonight Lucius, why else would I have summoned you all here?” Voldermort replied with a grin.

Draco looked like he would throw up. He had only a few days ago confided in Snape that he no longer shared his father’s views on muggles and muggle-borns as inferior. He could see the calculation in the boy’s eyes: his friends and peers being killed, tortured and raped.

“So, I suggest you ready yourselves. Tonight- we take Hogwarts.”
