Draco slammed the door and marched down the steps of his home. He stopped at the last step and turned to look at the closed door. He hated him. He hated his father with a passion. All he had ever wanted was to be Lucius’ “perfect son”. After all, he was his only son. Letting out an angry “humph”, Draco continued his march down the street. He didn’t know where he was going but he didn’t care. Anywhere was better than within even a mile of his father.
When he noticed that he was a good distance away, he slowed the rapid pace to a more leisurely walk. He needed to think. He just couldn’t take the humiliation any longer, he was almost twenty! He had to make it stop.
He needed something to get even with his father and distract him at the same time. But what? He tried to think of all the things that his father hated more than anything. Well, me. Laziness, ineptiblity, the lower class…mudbloods. Mudbloods! That’s it!
Draco let a small, mischievous smile cross his lips. He would curse his father, make him fall desperately in love with a mudblood. But who?

“Harry, I really don’t see what the problem is. It looks fine.” A red headed girl glanced up from her magazine and watched as ‘The boy who lived’ examined himself in the mirror.
“I think I look like a ninny.” He said coldly to her. He no longer had glasses, a few years ago he had traded them in for contacts. It was too difficult to wear glasses in his line of work.
Hermione rolled her eyes. “No you don’t, and even if you did it wouldn’t matter. Everyone should be looking at me.”
“Hey guys. Sorry I’m late, practice ran a bit over.” He kissed Hermione on the cheek and she gave him a smile in return. It didn’t even sound like he had the accent anymore. Looking at Harry he suppressed the urge to laugh. Hermione had chosen pink and brown. Brown suits, pink shirts, pink ties.
Harry looked at Victor and then at Hermione. “I knew it! I look horrible! I won’t wear it!” He threw up his arms and then crossed them as he attempted to stare Hermione down.
Hermione sighed and rolled her eyes again. “Fine. We’ll go with the black. But I’m keeping the pink shirts and ties!”
Victor kissed his fiancé and Harry let out a sigh of relief. Hermione gazed into the eyes of the man she loved and thought how lucky she was to be marrying him. Hermione Granger Krum, it had a ring to it.
Hermione glanced at her watch. “Oh no! Look what time it is! We’re meeting Ron and Ginny for lunch in less than ten minutes!”

Draco had somehow managed to walk right into town. It wasn’t too far from his house but he had been so deep in thought that he didn’t even realize that he had made it this far. As he passed the different shops thinking of how to make his plan work, he gazed inside them. At the bridal shop he had to double take. Inside was Potter, in a ridiculous suit, and seated near him was Hermione Granger and Victor Krum. Yes, he remembered reading about their engagement in the paper.
Pity. Krum could do much better than that mudblood Hermione Granger. Wait … mudblood…Granger…I’ve got it! I’ll curse dad to fall in love with Hermione Granger!
He laughed as he gazed into the shop at the unsuspecting pair. I’m sure Krum will thank me for relieving him of her. Draco rushed off, he had a lot of work to do before his plan could be set in motion.

Pop! Pop! Pop! Ron jumped and clutched at his heart as three bodies appeared in the three seats before him and Ginny.
Ginny smiled. “Good afternoon Hermione, Harry, Victor.” She nodded to each as she said their name.
“Blimey mates! You nearly scared me to death!” Ron was trying to catch his breath as if he had been running.
Harry laughed at him. “Ron, how long has it been? Really, you ought to be used to it by now. People apparate in and out of everywhere. You’re just easily scared.”
Ron kicked Harry under the table causing him to let out a yelp and bend down to rub his throbbing shin. Ron smiled as Harry gave him a nasty look and lifted his hand up to…
“Boys stop it, honestly! You two are how old?” Hermione shook her head and turned her focus to Ginny. “Sorry for being late, we were at the bridal shop getting Harry fitted.”
“Yes, and I don’t have to wear that ugly brown suit anymore.”
“Yea, I changed it to black, I didn’t think the brown looked as bad as all that…did it?” Hermione looked around as everyone either nodded or pretended to look at something else. “Then why on earth did no one tell me?!”
Victor rubbed her back lightly to calm her. “Because it’s your day love and we all just want you to be happy.\"
