If You Go Down To The Woods Today:
Sunlight streamed through the windows in the Boys dormitory in the Gryffindor Tower, bathing the room in bright light inviting the people inside to come out and play. Ron was looking longingly out of one of the windows toward the Quidditch pitch whilst Neville was having a panic attack searching for his list.
Harry looked at the piece of parchment in his hand and then at the equipment spread out in front of him.
Tent? Check
Sleeping bag? Check
Gas Stove? Check
Swiss Army knife? Check
Axe? Check
Matches? Check
Cooking Equipment? Check
Whistle? Check
Compass? Check
First aid kit? Check
And the list went on.
Harry sighed as he thought back to his earlier Order meeting.
**Flash back**
Harry sat back in his chair not quite sure how to react to the news Dumbledore had just given them.
\"Survival training?\" Harry asked, raking his fingers across his scalp as he tried to digest it all.
\"We thought it would be a valuable exercise, considering the amount of Death eater raids recently.\" Lupin added softly, watching Harry’s reaction carefully. Lupin had come back to teach at Hogwarts after the Dumbledore had managed to persuade the ministry and the governing board that he was no threat to the students and that perhaps having an Auror to share the teaching would make them feel more comfortable. That’s where Tonks came in and the pair had become quite close over the past few months.
Harry nodded. It did make sense as the raids recently on muggleborn homes had reached a new high. \'Another intimidation technique’ Harry guessed or perhaps a way of provoking Harry to attack him. Either way Harry wasn’t going to play along and he and the D.A had been training furiously since the beginning of the year to ready themselves for the final battle.
“So the plan is to ready us in case we manage to escape death eater capture?” Hermione asked and Dumbledore nodded
“What if the Voldermort finds us and attacks us when we are out there?”
“Then we just have to hope I can kill him” Harry muttered darkly
“No Harry-” Lupin started but Dumbledore interrupted
“You will have teachers with you and emergency portkeys that will send you straight back here to safety should you be attacked.”
Snape snorted from somewhere in the shadows but Harry ignored him. With a heavy sigh Harry stood and walked over to the headmaster’s desk and taking the Red Quill he signed his name to the list.
**End Flashback**
“Harry are you packed yet?” Hermione called from the common room.
“Be right there” Harry called back, giving in and shoving everything into the empty rucksack at the bottom of his bed.
“Come on Ron, the quidditch pitch will still be here when we get back.”
Ron groaned and reluctantly followed Harry’s example by shoving his camping gear into his rucksack.
“It’s only a week right?” Ron asked, stuffing a fist full of socks into his bulging bag.
“Yeah, don’t worry. It’ll be over in no time” Harry said giving him a sure smile and wishing he could convince himself this week would be as easy as he kept telling Ron it would be.
“Yeah you’re right” Ron replied looking a little more at ease.

Fifteen minutes later a rather grumpy looking Hermione and a rather sheepish looking Harry and Ron arrived in the entrance Hall just in time to hear the beginning of Dumbledore’s parting Notices.
“See we got here in plenty of time” Ron muttered, receiving a glare from Hermione which quickly silenced him. Stifling a laugh Harry smiled and tried to tune in to what Dumbledore was saying.
“-And now I will announce your camping groups-”
“Great I’ve missed what he said thanks to you” Hermione snapped at a confused looking Ron. Harry shrugged when his friend gave him a pleading look, he knew Hermione well enough by now not to start another argument when she was in this mood.
“- Miss Bones, Mr Boot, Mr Longbottom, Miss Lovegood, Miss Granger, Mr Malfoy-”
“WHAT?” Harry and Ron hissed together
“Shhhhh” Hermione flapped her arms at them to be quiet as Dumbledore continued to read.
“- Mr McMillan, Miss Parkinson, Mr Potter and Mr Weasley. You will be with Professor Snape-”
“Oh Merlin we’re going to die” Neville cried before fainting
“-and Professor McGonagall.” Dumbledore finished
“A week my foot” Ron growled “we’ll be lucky if we make it out alive after tonight”
“Oh calm down Ron, Professor McGonagall is going with us” Hermione said scowling at him.
“Yeah and so is Snape in case you hadn’t noticed” Ron bit back.
“Professor Snape” Hermione growled
Harry watched as his two friends faces began to redden and sensing another argument brewing he used the unconscious Neville as an excuse to duck out of the way.
This was going to be an interesting summer...

THE CONTEST:
(CLEARING UP SOMETHING....When writing for this entry, think about someone remembering 5th year and then wondering what could happen in their 6th year. That is where they think about the things that could happen (such as romances, fights, death...etc) and then basically snap out of it as they get ready to go to the train station... the RPG will start there)
Basically a bit of daydreaming and fantasy...have some real thoughts about what could happen, and you could put some outlandish funny stuff that wont or some terrible horrible things that the character is thinking could happen...

So I have started up the new site, but it needs your help!!! All your great ideas are in need!!! We have an RPG area set up on the new board, so what I need is your help with the plot of one of the RPG rooms....(there are three, one for adult rpg, one for a different plot, and this one you are doing)
In this RPG room its going to be like Book 6 NEVER HAPPENED! So what we need from you is a plot line!!!! So basically read the rules below and give us a PROLOUGE to the story so that the RPG members will be able to play it out.
RULES: (PG13 or under)
BASIC PLOT: Must revolve around Harry, Hermione, and Ron. You can take some ideas from book 6 but, DUMBLEDORE is not going to die, SNAPE/DRACO are not plotting to kill Dumbledore or anyone else or let death eaters into Hogwarts.
SHIPS: CANON ONLY, HG/RW allowed, HP/GW allowed. If you want Ginny or Ron to be with someone else before they get with Hermione or Harry, that is fine as long as its BELIEVABLE. No getting into any Fanfiction ships.
LENGTH: Your prolouge to this PRG must be at least 800 words or more. You need to put the story out for everyone. Let them know what the whole story is going to pertain, hint at the ships that will sail or sink, hint at the start of the battle with Voldie, hint at some great plan that will happen to kill people, etc, etc.....

PARTICIPATION: 200 points!
1st: We will use your story for the RPG, you can be a mod of that board if you want, you get a custom title, if your not in the house you want you can change houses at the new site to the one you do want, and 150 points for your house, we can debate more after you win.
2nd: 100 points and custom title. Your story may be saved to use at a later date in the RPG area.
3rd: 85 points. and a custom title.
